It is a big stadium, however in comparison (eg. The Shay - capacity 10,300) - The Shay looks huge compared to Penydarren Park, so makes me question whether it holds 10,000. Yes, Penydarren Park has fewer seats which will affect the overall capacity (seats take up more space than standing), but...
It's not very clear, some sources say 14,061, others say 10,000, there is also a local news article from around 3 years ago stating the capacity at "over 10,300". Unless I get it confirmed, i'll go with 10,300.
I've never been to Penydarren Park, but the pictures I have seen made me slightly surprised about the capacity - I struggle to believe that it holds 10,000!
What's most worrying is that we have been so defensively solid this season, 6 conceded in first 12 games. We also haven't picked up a single point yet this season when we have been in a losing position.
