Pleased with that. Our weakness was what we expected it to be so at least where we've recruited looks pretty covered. We looked good for a lot of the game and we finished it with Ayling-Shaughnessy-Cooper-Anita at the back which is a long way off our first choice (though Anita played well tbh)...

Linked with Reto Ziegler. Him and Borthwick-Jackson would add some depth to our back line. Suspect Berardi will take some forcing out at LB but if one of these two come in and show something at CB, would make me a lot more confident about having a viable partner for Jansson.

We haven't had great success from the lower leagues other than Beckford. I think Roofe will have a better season this time around though, so perhaps it just takes time (Beckford only came good after that loan spell to Scunthorpe).

If it happens it'll probably be the same story here tbh. Do need another LB but Berardi has done nothing wrong there, even if he is right-footed. Barrow was absolutely terrible for us last season. No idea how he's played so much in the Prem unless we got a lookalike on loan.
