    Bristol Street Motors Trophy 2024/25

Charlton away, keeping the trend of all our cup away games this season being fairly local.

    Saturday 23rd November fixtures

The Steves away for us tomorrow, prior to the break we'd scored 8 goals in 3 games and managed to win all 3, despite one being on pens. We usually sell out our allocation there, but with it being 12.30 and on tv, fans can actually pay on the day there tomorrow. Sonny Perkins has 3 in 3 after...

    Bristol Street Motors Trophy 2024/25

Of all the Prem U21 sides who entered, only Aston Villa are now left from what I can see.

Is it time for a 'Managerial Merry go round' thread?

Fair play to Shrewsbury, I didn’t envisage him ending up at the bottom of League One, literally the only option they could’ve gone for to go in with any experience. Will be really intriguing to see if he can turn them around. Thats the only managerial option available for the bottom of League...

    Bristol Street Motors Trophy 2024/25

We’re now through after beating a much changed MK Dons 3-1 with goals from Agyei, Perkins and Kelman. Perkins has now scored 3 games in a row FFS, despite still being largely ineffective! Can’t wait to be drawn away to Exeter or Cheltenham next round!

    Friday 8/Saturday 9 November fixtures

Back to back home wins for us, today we took our chances at key times and Blackpool didn't. At 0-0 and 1-0 Blackpool had some good chances to score but didn't take them, whereas we did largely due to an excellent performance from Dan Agyei, who managed to set up Sonny Perkins for another goal...

Is it time for a 'Managerial Merry go round' thread?

Looks like Coventry want Matt Bloomfield. If Bloomfield was to leave Wycombe - there will be a host of managers that would take that job and Ainsworth won’t be one of them!

    Friday 8/Saturday 9 November fixtures

This is only our third 3pm Saturday home kick off this season - Its also our last until January 4th after our home game with Mansfield in 2 weeks was called off today. Has to be a first - Only three 3pm home kick offs for a club in the first half of a season, needless to say alot of our fans...

Is it time for a 'Managerial Merry go round' thread?

Thats literally the next option, a coach from abroad. Probably worth the gamble I'd say, depends on what his experience is etc. No one down here is going to get a Danny Rohl for example - Someone who was asisstant coach at Bayern and the German national side! It won't be someone of that calibar!

Is it time for a 'Managerial Merry go round' thread?

Thing is there is literally no experienced League One managers out of work who would even consider dropping down manage yourselfs or us for example. I stand by what I said a few weeks back. Burton still don't have a manager 2 weeks after getting rid of Robinson. Maamria is literally the only...

    FA Cup 2024/25

Well considering what has happened over the last few days, I am just relieved we didn't lose, even though in the end we probably should've done. We made changes, but they did work to begin with. 70mins into the game and generally controlled it, unlucky not to make it 3-0, BW had a few...

    FA Cup 2024/25

5 years ago we lost 2-1 to Maldon & Tiptree who were a level below Kettering at home and on that BBC Sunday highlights thing. Carl Fletcher had been in charge for a month and we'd been really, really shit under him and not won a game. At the final whistle I said to my mate, don't be suprised...

    FA Cup 2024/25

Fucking Boreham Wood away, they've only sold 800 tickets and I think we've sold a similar number meaning the game is now no longer all ticket and fans can pay on the day. This is what happens when you move it to 2pm on a Sunday, had this been a Saturday at 3pm the game probably would've sold out...

    Sat 26th/Mon 28th Oct Fixtures

Another toothless attacking display from ourselves, gifted Wycombe the first two goals, should really have been further behind at half time. Due to injuries and terrible attacking signings our bench is now very limited, meaning we end up switching shape at half time which didn't really do...

    Sat 26th/Mon 28th Oct Fixtures

Not expecting much at Adams Park, our record there is shocking - W2 L10 - never drawn though! Grinded out a much needed win on Tuesday, but we still lack goals and have some injuries all of a sudden to cope with. About 2 months before Richard Kone signed for Wycombe last season, my two mates...

    Stickied League 1 Transfer Rumours/Confirmed Transfers 2024/25

Kevin Lisbie is a good example for us, signed on a free outside of the window after we fell a bit short up front back in September 2011. Probably the best striker in my time I’ve seen us have. We signed Dom Ball who was at Ipswich last season outside of the window this year and whilst he is...

Is it time for a 'Managerial Merry go round' thread?

As I originally said, not many experienced League One firefighters out of work right now. Except Joey Barton who is a liability for different reasons. Intrigued to see who Burton go for next. Is that like 36 games at this level without a win for Mark Robinson?

    Tuesday 22 October fixtures

A very scrappy and much needed 1-0 win, we've played alot better than we did tonight and lost. Either side of us scoring Rotherham missed two sitters through Humphreys and Nombe. Game was very scrappy with very few chances, Rotherham I thought were very average, went down a bit too easily at...

    Tuesday 22 October fixtures

Our first game with the Millers since the 2014 playoff final - Steve Evans is still the manager of Rotherham FFS! We need to start scoring our chances soon otherwise we will be going down, Wellens and Ling have messed up our attacking signings, those combined with Jordan Graham still recovering...
