Have to say, I agree. Evatt for me, though I understand others have reservations. I think he'd be suited to these players (or they'd be suited to him), and he has experience at this level. Give him the gig to the end of the season, with a big old wedge thrown in as a staying up bonus.
Looking to make an appointment in the next day or two, according to a couple who are usually there or thereabouts with their info. Supporters Trust (who own a minority stake in the club) have scheduled a membership meeting for Wednesday.
Nearly gave in to temptation but I can't justify taking the afternoon off work. Opted to go to Cleethorpes a week on Saturday instead and chalk off a new ground.
As for tomorrow, it's a big ask - but we need results. Kadeem Harris committing to the rest of the season is a huge boost, and...
Got to hope that some of these signings are Clarksons, and that some stability will exist through him if/when MW eventually leaves.
It's a struggle at the moment.
We've inevitably sold out for Fleetwood on Saturday, allocation of just over 1k. Worrying to see that the made it to general sale for a few hours. I'd like to say I'm looking forward to it...
Trouble is we're still short of quality, particularly in the wingback roles. Harper has regressed massively since a couple of promising performances early this season, Davies isn't back until late February, and Ellis is not a wingback. If Armstrong is going, we're still short up front too...

I believe players can be removed from the squad list at anytime during the window, even whilst still under contract - so long as the relevant submissions are made to the EFL.
Give Armstrong a strike partner and he'll soon come good. He may as well be on the moon with the amount of support he's getting. The lad is not - and never has been - a lone striker. Completely misused by successive managers.
Aye. I'd take him, don't get me wrong. I just don't know that there's anything in this one, unlike the Embleton and Whelan reports from last week which were more solid - in particular the last one. Saying that, I'll be surprised if there isn't an attacking signing and a fullback/wingback...
14 goals and 5 assists in 23 games this season. But he just signed an extension in November. Also, he plays as a wide forward, in pretty much the position it looks like we've signed Embleton to fill.
I wish I'd not bothered with either. The finale at Crewe left me numb, today leaves me a rambling, gibbering wreck. I'm well beyond denial at this point - somewhere between anger and despair. Gutless, spineless performance from a group of players I feel very little connection with.
Whelan...
