At least we're making noise about if we go up, we have a recruitment plan for that level and have bought this year with the aim of taking players up who can step up/already should be at that level.
It didn't quite seem that way last time we went up and we have a number of January League 1...
Erm... never replied but so you can build the list;
me
I was on TFF from 2008 onwards so probably only outlasted by slades, alex_bcfc & rocky? From those who've moved across, that is. They may be later on or they may not. Unsure. They are long time.
It's pointless. I understand (but disagree with) the argument for putting U21 teams into a formal league as it provides weekly development. Unless the JPT goes back to an initial round robin group of 3 (years ago, kids) then it's just a round of fixtures where teams get knocked out.
So...
SC not impressed;
SC: "We played some great football. I wouldn't like to play the kind of football they do, direct up the pitch."
SC: "They didn't even shake our hands at the end. And they watered the pitch all over the end we were defending in the second half."
I went to watch us play twice away to Brighton in the Championship. We lost 2-0 both times and it was horrific.
I imagine this is the same. Except I had no expectations from league placing or form. So hahahaha for you.
Just saw yours before I posted mine so:
Christ. You'd think at some point we'd have some time off?
3 away, 2 home, 1 neutral 1 home. It's a tough month. But from a position of 8 points clear (Preston game in hand ignored) & 70 points on 28th Feb? We're surely well set.
03/03 - Orient Away...
We were shit. The ref was fairly poor at times for both sides (but not when the crowd deemed him to be; Wilbraham's injury wasn't a head injury so he can be left on the floor until the ball goes dead - which is playing by the rules!).
Rochdale couldn't hit the proverbial barn door / cows arse...
