As I understand it, and I’ve been told this by numerous players, we cease to hold their registration as soon as they are out of contract, freeing them up to sign pre-contracts etc elsewhere. It’s not just as simple as saying to players stay with us for god knows how long, and wait for god knows...
Which hat are you debating with, the Barnet one or Maidenhead? Either way wouldn’t it be better just to end the season now from a self interest point of view. I get the fact we could sign players past May, but I suspect we have a fair few we want shot of at the end of the season and they may...
Indeed, but I’ll wager you’ll find most clubs in this league only offer 44 weeks. Our players will be out of contract mid-May, so how do we fulfil our fixtures?
No they wouldn’t, we give 44 week contracts and ours are only paid into May. We’ve already put players and staff on half wages so I’m struggling to see where we’d get the money to pay them for a couple of extra months without help from the FA or the PL.
If he’s not injured, too good for NLN. Hasn’t played much in the last couple of seasons but he’s just what we’re missing, a combative creative midfielder.
Brilliant. Looks like a proper footballer in our dogs arse of a squad. The fitter he gets the better he gets and we insist on him playing wide, with the rest of this season left to get back to full fitness will easily play in at least L2 next year and maybe a L1 club will take a punt.
The safety stuff with have to be done before the start of the season, or you will have to close those areas off. Stuff like changes to dressing rooms etc you’ll get a year for, and if you need to add seats or anything to get the standing/seat percentage right you’ll get three years. I believe...
That won’t be cheap, and ours cost about 50 grand a year to test for safety. Also, is the end at the changing room end of the ground stepped? If it’s not, you won’t be able to use that, that’s why we had the close the High Street end at the Rec. judging by the Tv pictures the changing rooms will...
