900! .... they gave us almost 1400 last season. We filled the away standing terrace and part of the seating in their [out of place] large stand. I guess they're only giving you half the away terrace and seating. Don't go running on the pitch when you score though... the locals don't like it.
Me too! So missed going to that fantastic stadium last year and paying a pittance to either stand OR sit (yes you get both options for the same miniscule entrance fee). The atmosphere - as Master D quite rightly pointed out - is second-to-none in this league. But get there early as the stadium...
I never in a million years thought I'd ever say this, but here goes.... I agree 100% with BFT2!*
*Make the most of it though, fella. It'll only happen once in my lifetime!
The pressure will be on Maidstone to beat the Angels both home and away next season... and it's a bloody long time since that happened when both playing in the same division.
Can't wait for the visiting Stone's wazzocks to lord it over the Angels at Longmead only to be silenced in injury time...

So looking forward to (once again) visiting all these (mostly) northern shiteholes. Yep, there are some rough places down south, but f*ck me, you lot make it sound so depressing. Which I'm sure it is.
Well, one thing's for sure next season.... our travelling is going to go through the roof compared to our short venture into NLS and the addition of two northern clubs (Stockport and Chorley).
Our longest trip is to the never-regions of Gateshead (766 mile round-trip). Our 'local' game sees us...
....and so it begins. The love/hate relationship that is the Angels and Maidstone.
A Mr Sword65 from their forum in reply to an Angel fan asking if the Maidstone fans were 'annoyed' that we're both again at the same level:
''I assume you are a Tonbridge Angels fan so let me be the first to...
Take our first game in NLS away at Chelmsford. Some of the City fans were, let's say, a bit unhappy that Torquay fans decided to stay behind the goal they occupied before kick off instead of swapping. However, not so much this season, but the last time we played Langney Sports (Eastbourne...
Likewise your trip to the 'Bay. Expect it to be in mid-winter. Called off twice and re-arranged for a Thursday.
Think yourself lucky Braintree got relegated.
