Big, big win. Properly had to grind that out as Rovers defended well and put us under a fair amount of pressure at times.
Table's looking sweet right now though.
Wow. Okay. I can see what you all meant. Something seriously not right with that Derby side, shadow of the sort of opposition they tend to provide. (Didn't mean to rhyme, there)
Big win for us yesterday to settle the nerves a little and re-establish a healthier looking lead over third, albeit with a game extra played. Reading and Newcastle visit the Amex for our next two fixtures, certainly feels like it's getting to the crunch time now..
Oh, and here's our chairman Tony Bloom on the away terrace celebrating Duffy's goal: https://twitter.com/officialbhafc/status/828573989207281664
Love the bloke.
Yeah he's a class act Jota, remember him ripping us to shreds in that 3-2 at GP a few seasons back during our disastrous spell under Hyypia. Do you not wonder what you might've achieved this season had he been playing from the start?
As for us, would've been having serious concerns about the...
We were awful, Huddersfield seriously impressive. Please can you repeat that on Sunday?
Been a recurring theme for us this season that our most wretched performances have come a) when Stephens is absent and b) immediately following international breaks & cup games. No excuses though, pretty...
Not particularly confident for tonight. As ever in these sorts of games against the chasing pack, it's almost more important for us to just not lose it. And I'd happily take a draw right now if offered - expecting Hudders to be right up for it and we rarely win up there.
Finally landed a striker to provide some cover and competition for Baldock - Chuba Akpom on loan from Arsenal. Doesn't score many but a bit of pace to run the channels and stretch defences whilst complementing Murray or Hemed is all we need.
Seems a lot for a 33-year-old but I imagine a decent chunk of that fee will be dependant on promotion. Loose change compared with the financial reward of going up I guess.
