Whilst today was shite, I’m almost certain I read a stat around a month ago where no other manager in the football league had picked up more away wins than McKenna since he took over at Ipswich.
Today was admitt dreadful though first half. Second half was much improved and we could have gone on...
I’m not saying it’s right or wrong but McKenna introduced our lot staying in hotels before every away game. Something in it about team bonding he got from his time working under Pochettino at Spurs and Mourinho at United. Both managers apparently thought there was something in it with the side...
Fair point I suppose. It’s looking like selling out to season ticket holders. We’ve only got around 18,000 season ticket holders and over a third of them will be at MK.
As I said before though, I made this same point earlier this year when Sheffield Wednesday were limited to 6500 when they’d have easily taken more.
It’s just the concept of football fans wanting to be at a match but not being allowed when there’s 15000 empty seats. Even if they have to...
It’s more about the number of empty seats.
We’ve thousands who are missing out for literally no reason.
Is the sport not supposed to be about the fans? It used to be.
I felt the exact same.
Football is for the fans. Doesn’t matter who the team is.
I’m sure I posted something similar when I saw Sheffield Wednesday were only given 6500 earlier this year. It’s ridiculous when there are 15000 empty seats yet thousands who want to be there, aren’t allowed...
MK Dons blocking us from having anymore tickets for their place next month. Maximum 6,558. Ridiculous seeing as we could’ve sold 10k last year and this and there’s 15,000 empty seats in the place.
Edit - Have also just seen it’s not even made general sale yet. We’re likely gonna have sold the...
Just been reading about chances created this season. Our left back Davis is 2nd with 68 chances created in 26 matches. Bannan is top with 71 and Hourihane next behind the top 2 with 45 created.
Highlights how poor our finishing has been at times that our left back has created 68 chances and yet...
Fleetwood undoubtedly the 2nd worst for those antics we’ve ever come up against. Oxford being the worst for that.
Good bunch of fans though. Very complimentary of us on one of their blogger videos last season.
Perhaps it’s been like it for many years and I’m only noticing it this season because of this thread but the actual away support in League 1 this year is absolutely ridiculous. Third tier football and loads of clubs taking decent numbers up and down the country. It’s great to see really...
Unsurprisingly very happy with that. Eased off completely second half after having missed 10 chances but taking 4 first half. Not exaggerating when I say 4-0 flattered Morecambe at half time.
Plenty of changes, fresh legs and no injuries after that. As cold a night at the football as I can...
Surely the point is that it would be a tiny minority saying that. You can’t judge our fan base on one comment. Or two comments perhaps. Likewise we won’t judge your whole fan base on the poster in this thread who claimed you dominated by some distance. And we won’t judge your whole fan base on...
