While I respect your opinion, you could make a strong argument our history is better than all three of those clubs.
League champions, Fa Cup winners and champions of Europe. 31 home games in European competition and zero defeats. Against the likes of Madrid, Barca and Inter Milan.
If you can find a single post on here that suggests any Ipswich fan thinks we are a bigger club than Sunderland, I’ll leave instantaneously. We’re not a ‘big club’ in terms of actual big clubs.
We’re an above League 1, top half championship size club. That’s just how it is. You may disagree...
Less than 100 tickets left. Just got mine. Requires two days of work but hopefully will be worth it. If it’s even half as good as Saturday was at derby, it’ll be a cracker of a trip.
If we do end up in the playoffs, I’d be delighted if the team we had to play was Portsmouth. By a long way they’re the worst teams in the ‘promotion race’. Although to be fair I don’t think you’ve been in the race since about October have you? Bang average side and overrated fans.
I’d say it’s far more that Evans is no longer owner. Since he has left every season has been higher than any of his ten years as owner. Majority of his years we were in the championship but fans were voting with their feet.
Think that twitter account has a habit of rounding it up actually. they did the same with our mk dons away number and rounded it up to an amount we wasn’t even given.
So you get to play us next year and see a proper crowd. Bless ya.
Also Hirst is loving life now he’s playing for a proper side. We will be getting him in the summer permanently that’s for sure. Sorry to break the news to you..
It does have the feeling on twitter and TWTD as being one of the biggest games for us in years. Hopefully we don’t bottle it. Sheffield Wednesday (a) and Plymouth (h) both felt huge at the time too and we played well both times I thought but ultimately failed to get the 3 points. If we can play...
I’ve said on here before I always hope to see Cheltenham do well as it’s an area I love (purely for the racing Festival in March every year) and it’s full of good people.
I did genuinely want yous to stay up as I said earlier in the year on the relegation thread. I’d noticed your upturn in...
Yes but the point he was making was that Ifollow buys were stopping our fans from coming to Accrington and giving them money. But that was nonsense because the away end was a sellout anyway.
Considering we’ve not played in ages, it’s been a quality week.
Since we last played:
- Sheffield Wednesday lost at Barnsley
- Sheffield Wednesday lost at Forest Green
- Barnsley lost at Exeter
- Sheffield Wednesday drew at Cheltenham
If we can win at Derby Saturday, it’s been the biggest...
Bigger and better away ends; higher quality pitches; standard of actual football is higher; better stadiums and facilities; and less chance of arriving at 1pm at a stadium only for it to have been postponed because their was 20 minutes of rain and the pitch is waterlogged.
That’s five reasons...
