Managed to miss last week with other stuff going on. Back now anyway to keep my lead at the top.
07/03 - Ipswich Win v Accrington (Joker)
11/03 - Ipswich Draw v Bolton
As it goes, I said on here back in September that MK at our place were the worst team I’ve seen at Portman Road in a few years. They were genuinely worse than the tier 7 team we played in the FA Cup in November.
7 games unbeaten and 4 consecutive clean sheets. But more importantly 3 straight wins with Accrington at home on Tuesday a winnable game.
I’d say we’re over our blip. We now just have to hope one of Plymouth and/or Sheffield Wednesday have one.
I will go for:
FGR, Morecambe and Cambridge to go down for sure. They’re all just not very good and will be relegated for that very simple and obvious reason. And the last spot to be Cheltenham (unfortunately as I’ve a real soft spot for the place).
MK were the worst team we’ve played this...
He’s the best manager we’ve had in such a long time. And it’s ironically the best squad we’ve had in 10 years so you’d argue he’s underperforming.
I don’t know how but it’s definitely fair to say he’s underperforming in League 1 but yet is going to quite clearly be a premier league manager...
Which is ridiculous. It’ll be half empty. You should be allowed to have as many as you want to bring when the ground isn’t at capacity. Same point as I made a fortnight ago re us at mk dons.
Yeah I have to say I am sick of seeing opposition fans lauding us as the ‘best team we’ve played this season’ or the ‘most impressive league 1 side in recent years’ etc and then watching us a week later have 25 shots, scoring just the once or and throwing away a couple of points when the other...
Good stuff. Proper club Wednesday.
Still maintain I want us two to go up.
Absolutely a must win for us. Our inconsistency is killing us. We’re an excellent side at our best (burnley fans generally said we were the best they’ve played all season after both games) but when we’re not at our best...
Have your lot got the bottom bit for the game Saturday? The extra 250 seats? Every club bar Plymouth this season has turned it down for one reason or another. Obviously yous would sell it if you wanted to but most clubs don’t want the extra as it’s at the bottom and probably requires extra...
From what I was reading a year ago somewhere, League 1 refs and below aren’t actually professional in the sense that they all have other jobs. The match fee is just an extra.
