On paper it should be an away win but you never know in football. You’d think Walsall will have the attitude of “it’s a bit of a free hit so go and play with some freedom”. That said if we play like we did last night then it should be a routine win for us. Hopefully we’ll have around 1500...
Oh and fair play to all the Swindon fans that made the journey. To continue applauding in the fifth minute despite conceding a goal was superb. All the best for the remainder of the season.
That was the most complete Tranmere performance of the season. Play like that for the rest of the season and we’ll be promoted. Outstanding to a man and should have been more than 3. Expected a lot more from Swindon tbh but thought we nullified them extremely well.
We’ve got a tough set of...
Horrid conditions up at Barrow and 2 points thrown away really. Careless penalty given away which gave Barrow their goal. Just need to move on from that and focus on following that up with 3 points midweek.
Paul Farman had the referee on strings that whole second half as well. Sensational time...
Love Gary Neville saying that they’ll pay for the team coach for the replay as if it’s some lovely gesture when that’s what the league rules say you have to do!
Fair play on the paying for the supporters coach for the rearranged game though.
Wasn’t pretty but 3 points is all that mattered after Saturday. Especially with Northampton, Mansfield and Swindon all dropping points. Good to open up that slight gap between 4th as well.
We deserved the win without being spectacular whereas Stevenage didn’t look to dangerous until the final...
Well with what went on yesterday, I think that’s Mansfield joining Forest Green in League One with the rest of us battling for that last auto spot and the playoff lottery.
I’m happy with our squad and if we can bounce back with a win today then can look at putting Saturday’s result as a one off.
I know people get all giddy when there’s a big attendance but it is some going that one today from us. Just shows the catchment a club like ourselves has when things are going well.
It’s such an exciting time at the club right now. Performances are brilliant, off the pitch we’re looking very...
Ticket sales now over 9000 with 200 from Forest Green. Looking at 10,000+ which would be brilliant.
Will be interesting to see what two out of McPake, Morris and Hawkes start tomorrow as can see Spearing and O’Connor remaining in the middle with Jolley and Hemmings up top. 3 very good options...
It’s a big game. It’s a rivalry. And it’s exactly the type of game both sets of players, staff and fans want to be involved in at this stage of the season. I can’t wait.
What a day we’ve had. Two players who are comfortable League One standard and have both signed 2 and a half year deals. All this positivity is getting out of hand!
I agree thought we were much the better side in truth. We had more clear cut chances and in the second half, Crawley didn’t look like scoring at all. It’s worth noting that Crawley were one of the form teams in the league as well and they never really laid a glove on us.
Our defensive record is...
Big win that away at Crawley especially with Sutton, Northampton and Swindon dropping points. Big game against the league leaders next week but today’s win means less pressure on that one for us. Get in!!
