Huge win for us at Sixfields. Great character coming back from 1-0 down and I think overall we were the better side throughout. Huge turning point at 1-0 as Tzanev made a big save to keep it at 1-0 then we grabbed the equaliser shortly after.
Controlled the game for large parts really, 3 wins...
To be fair that will be the perception when you turn up and win ugly, we’ve done it when we get to Wembley under Boothroyd won 19 home games 1-0 or something silly.
Badge of honour really
I thought Smith was a nippy little striker a la Marriott but he’s a bit of a bruiser as well isn’t he. Your sheer physicality won you every first and second ball today.
Utterly dreadful. Doesn’t help we’re again missing a few of our better performers but woof that was a tough watch. Defensively all over the place but probably not too surprising, and when James Wilson is the only attacking change you can make you may as well pack up and go home.
Comfortable...
Hollywood FC at home, so obviously it’s a sell out. We should be full of confidence and with it being 12:30 it’s a great chance to pile some pressure on. Wrexham’s wily old strikers will be a test for young Max Dyche so that’ll be interesting to watch.
Would take a point.
Average minimum points to stay up in League 1 over the last 10 seasons is 49 - so you’d need 1.53 points to get there. As Shrewsbury showing it’s not impossible but like you said it probably needs to start soon!
If everyone carried on at that rate for the rest of the season; we’d have these totals
17) Northampton - 54
18 Shrewsbury - 52
19) Burton - 48
20) Rovers - 47
21) Exeter - 41
22) Peterborough - 39
23) Crawley - 35
24) Cambridge - 34
Obviously Exeter and Boro’s dreadful form doing some heavy...
Thought it’d be interesting to look at PPG since Christmas as the teams down the bottom are making a real fist of it, interesting to see if it’s borne out in the stats
17) Northampton - 1.33
18) Exeter - 0.55
19) Bristol Rovers - 0.88
20) Peterborough - 0.55
21) Burton - 1.40
22) Shrewsbury -...
Clung on. Get in. Hairy at the end but back to back wins feels massive there especially the way we’ve done it.
Nolan since his appointment: Played 9, W3 D3 L3.
1.3 PPG so decent nick atm. Up the fucking Wobbs
