Very scrappy end to the half but we look bright when we actually get it down which is proving difficult. Should be ahead but we do struggle to create clear cut chances which is proving the case at the minute.
Not going to Mansfield after the late switch of day, fuck em (and before any Mansfield fans moan - our supporters liaison got an earful about our part in it on Saturday in the bar before Huddersfield).
They’ve obviously had a shit run but they’ll most likely get back to form and beat us at...
Very much so. Stood down as he just got a bit burnt out but has had a couple of months break now so may be ready to get back into it.
Did an excellent job at Sixfields, relatively flexible tactically, players and fans loved him, also played attacking pressing football.
We’ve palmed injury prone Ben Fox off to Harrogate and expecting Dara Costelloe to be announced sometime this evening too.
Trying for one more after but doesn’t seem likely.
After Mansfield away on Friday we’re back at home for 3 games in a row so hopefully can start to string a few results together. Performances definitely improving and yesterday felt big.
Best performance under Nolan so far.
Cruised for 70 minutes, were streets ahead and deservedly 3-0 up. Huddersfield get a goal with a nicely worked move then for that last 10 it was agony, think I’ve ended up with a stomach ulcer but we held on.
Our two new midfielders make us so much better...
Yeah will be, bus to the ground goes from the Drapery (Shipmans/Pennyloafer pubs right on the drapery). If you walk there’s a route with Thomas Becket and the Sevens pub on the way for pit stops that walking wise takes about half hour. After the game the bus goes from the top of the hill I believe.
