Ah, the mysterious trump card of 'it'.
I didn't mention the televised debates. The piece above isn't by Owen Smith. The piece above is by the journalist Owen Jones.
With that in mind, do you think Labour should be putting together a strategy to, for example, win back seats in Scotland etc...
Abertawe, I really hope all those people had a nice day out. I don't think it's a good idea for the leader of the opposition to primarily speak to those who already agree with him, to the detriment of speaking to the country at large.
Interesting piece out today from former Corbyn-backer Owen...

Corbyn is undoubtedly still in a stronger position for the leadership election, but I have been impressed that Smith has announced more policies in the last 10 days than Jeremy has managed to discuss...
Stick with it, I suppose. I don't imagine the party will actually split, as this would be bad for everyone. I think as the summer wears on, the leadership election will prove quite close. I am hopeful this will act as a catalyst for the party to be able to come together afterwards, regardless of...
It gives me a warm feeling to agree with you about politics. I tried to find a hugging emoticon in the panel but alas there isn't one. Have whatever this is instead: :69:
People in this country don't seem to understand how badly Hillary Clinton is viewed in the US. Trump is building massive...
Re: the edit to your previous post, I bring up the Pfizer thing because you linked to that DM story that was trying to make Owen Smith look bad, because Pfizer are 'bad', etc etc.
But re: this quoted post, this is something you return to a lot: that in the long fullness of time I will be...
Perhaps the internet is a needlessly dividing medium, and if we were ever to meet in real life we could coalesce around a common cause.
I would like for the opposing sides within Labour to work together. I don't think I'm a political commentator. I just try to base what I'm saying in some solid...
You are astoundingly boring. I have been quoting actual evidence and ideas at you for ... what has it been, weeks? You have no counter-arguments. You have no ideas. You are a brainwashed and uncompromising individual. I've engaged with every actual argument you've made, and you always drop...
Also there's no point in debating all the good and bad actions of Pfizer. They're a company, so they try to get the highest possible price for their product. Not everything is an evil conspiracy. This is about the US, but gives good examples of why drugs cost more in some countries than others...
In the interest of explaining why Corbyn's electability is an issue (beyond what's already been said):

I would agree with you, and I don't think Corbyn is/was dangerous in any way. But at the time, that is how he was probably viewed by MI5, which is where this point originally came from.
I don't say that flippantly, or because he talked to Sinn Fein, but I don't think Clinton, Major etc spent a decade attending IRA events: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-refuses-to-comment-on-new-reports-of-close-links-to-ira-a6689681.html
He refuses to actually...
No one manager can fix England's institutionalised national trauma when it comes to football tournaments. We don't lack technique, we lack self-belief, confidence, and a supportive audience. High expectation and a toxic attitude towards the national team has created a vicious circle of poor...
I think that's true re methodology of some companies, and it's something to watch for. The overall trend though now looks very well established. Democratic convention will be interesting to watch. They could really do with a 'bounce' to pick up some momentum.
As time goes on, I think people are...
A candle of hope in this dark evil world?
You can only hold this view if you categorically ignore all criticisms of him, and almost literally view him as a saint. For example, why is it unforgivable that Owen Smith worked for a pharmaceutical company, but Jeremy acting like this is fine...
I mean it seems like it would be easy to me. I regularly take the car over to France and nobody ever stops to look in the boot, but maybe there's some sort of racial profiling they employ. It's just what I've heard on the news in the past.
