Also, good luck to you all at Ebbsfleet, Maidstone and Truro in the Play-Offs
Not you Whitehawk, you can fuck off, but don't dare follow us to the Ryman by getting Relegated next year as we're stuck in mid-table!
Unbelievable!! 5-2 win away to Gosport! Elliot Benyon hattrick and 2 goals from our youth player Dylan Kearney (who scored 29 I think in the youth League-- where we've won 9-0 on three occasions this season!)
Great send off to this disappointing season which does see us Relegated. A season...
Oh, I see. Such ashame these bigger clubs can do this to Non-League clubs. Should be there to help not practically kick a team out of their own ground.
Nonetheless, look forward to a trip to you guys next season (providing we are an Isthmian club), a ground I've nearly visited on many...
That's the only thing that bars us from playing Isthmian football next year, however we are hoping to find out in the coming weeks if the FA will allow us in to Beaconsfield Road, which, looking at some recent pics looks almost complete. If this is granted we will almost certainly be in the...
Garry Haylock has departed us after yesterday's result/ relegation
Such a shame, with abit of time he could've brought good days back to the club as we all know he's the one who worked wonders for us in our promotion season. Two days in a row have been sad,sad ones in our history:sad:
Our fans...
It's a shame we were relegated but it's been coming.. All us Hayes fans have accepted that I think. I look forward to the challenge of this League next season and a few local games aswell.
Thanks for the kind words aswell much appreciated.
Indeed it is, he also played for Birmingham, Cardiff and Sheff Wed..to name a few. He made over 500 football league appearances. He's 39 now and I'm sure a 65 year old can play better. He's been shambles the last few weeks.
I've bidded farewell to the National South forum. Now time to say hello to the Isthmian forum, presuming this is where we will be next season:bye:
Our 3-0 defeat to Bath today all but confirmed relegation with Margate winning and St. Albans drawing.
Bye bye everyone in the National South...see ya when we see ya:bye:
The 3-0 loss to Bath all but confirmed relegation for us as Margate won and St Albans drew.
We were ok in the 1st half, but you could see our players lacking any confidence as they barely attacked and Bath dominated...
That's true that--theyre well out of form.
We have Havant to worry about aswell as they have a game in hand.
3 points today may give me a great deal of belief that we will avoid the drop, depending on other results, of course.
Nervous for tomorrow's game it's a must win... We will be Relegated if St.Albans beat Wealdstone and Margate beat Hemel and we lose to Bath.
Have a nasty gut feeling that we may be bidding farewell to the The Conference (National) South tomorrow, especially with my record for watching us (10...
With Whitehawk beating Bath this evening it makes a very interesting match for Baths visit to us on Saturday, all to play for although I reckon Bath are safe. However, we beat them on Saturday and it could all change
Whitehawk look good for Play-Offs now aswell imo what a topsy-turvy season for...
Was at York Road to witness a "strange" match...
We went 1-0 down and looked dead and buried with very little confidence amd our fans being fucking idiots and not supporting whatsoever (just abuse to all players and Garry Haylock dont know what hes doing apparently-- which is pure bs as hes...
Can't say much as I was at Plymouth Argyle v AFC Wimbledon...
anyway, we remain in the bottom 3...started brightly after being 2-0 up at Half time but 2nd half I'm guessing our defence played up again as it ended 2-2.
Vital point but with Havant's game postponed it means we go a game ahead of...
We're away to Oxford today. Could be interesting as we've both lost our last 3, but going on recent performances I can only think we're gonna lose.
Basingstoke v Weston-super-mare is a big game for us to watch for
Hes had his on and off days tbh. His debut got United man of the match when he kept his (to date) only clean sheet for us against Ebbsfleet on the 27th Feb...but I think if our defenders weren't playing so terrible he could be seen as a much better goalkeeper
In the 2 games I've watched him in...
I wasnt at the game and Gods sake I'm glad I'm on holiday in Cornwall anyway cos I did plan on going to this game until the last minute plan to come here...
I honestly didn't expect a point against Ebbsfleet to be honest...but I didn't exactly think it'd end in a 5-0 loss!
Do the players...
Ohhh dear...not looking good
Havant and Waterlooville 1-0 Hayes and Yeading
With that result Havant close on us plus Weston somehow beating Ebbsfleet (?!?) we once again look like we are gonna slip into that trapdoor.
Was a 6-poimter tonight and we didn't take advantage of it. Plus we are...
