Head firmly in sand eh Tommy?
As others have said; it's really quite amazing how blinkered most (but not all) Bury fans have been. Sadly, those who have raised genuine concerns have largely been shouted down as naysayers.
"enjoy the ride" seems to have been your mantra.
What would you feel...
It's staggering how you have stood by and watched Stuart Day and his cronies do this to your club. There has been a very long running thread on the Rochdale messageboard (ok...including much piss taking) which contains REAL evidence that should have led to action against your Board well before...
PS Wycombe would have won the game if they hadn't insisted on wasting so much time from about minute 5 until Dale scored on minute 79.
Why would a team on top be so stupid?
Big win for Rochdale, in a game that for long periods we were second best in. Akinfenwa was brilliant for Wycombe, but our defenders restricted him to just one effort on goal, which was easily saved.
Gives us a realistic chance of staying up, despite having a useless defence under Hill.
BBM...
Careful !!!
Sunderland didn't sell all their tickets, and sent quite a few back. I'd guess around 400 empty seats in the normal away section and a few in the one block behind the goal. when operating at full capacity, the away stand holds 3650, but it's been reduced by a couple of hundred...
bury have been overspending for about 6 years, and are now heavily in debt. There have been questions about their ability to continue paying such high wages, especially seeing as they are a similar sized club to ourselves and Oldham, both within 10 miles. I think they have cut their playing...
Pretty much dominated a decent Luton outfit from start to finish, but somehow didn't score. As 0-0's go, it was very entertaining, and even the inconsistent referee didn't spoil it as he seemed to let things go for both teams.
Not sure how a couple of Dale's chances didn't go in...would have...
Funny old game eh? I honestly think that both teams could lay claim to being the worthy winners. Dale missed (or had saved) at least 4 clear cut chances from open play, whilst our Keeper was at fault for conceeding the penalty and then pulled off a decent save from a not very good spot kick...
Correct. I get upset every time I see you on the L1 forum. So does this mean that you approve of OAP's being hit from behind? Or 10 year old kids being threatened?
Low in numbers and relatively quiet, compared to most other teams we've faced at home, but Donny managed to bring the highest number of idiot schoolboy hoolies that I've seen for a while.
Disgraceful scenes outside the ground after the match, with wannabee hard boys attacking anyone in their...
I must be one of the only people who enjoys this competition.
We usually field a team with as many Youth team players as allowed, and they always do us proud, showing real commitment and passion.
It's a return to the old days of No Fear football, and it generally more entertaining than a L1...
Yep.. that's the only meeting I can find. I went to that game and enjoyed it. You looked to have quite a few decent youngsters if I remember correctly.
Our Official Site now saying we've sold over 1000 tickets, which might be a small number for most teams in L1 but it's about 35% of our home...
Looking forward to playing you , and visiting SOL. I honestly can't remember us ever playing Sunderland in the league before, so there might be a few more away supporters than normal...perhaps 7-800 or so, which is decent. Hoping for a good match...now you've mentioned Max Power; he will...
We may well have had more of the ball against Posh, but we did relatively little with it... much of the time we passed it around at the back. Our shots were for the most part ineffective and off target.
I doubt you'll find many Dale fans who didn't think that posh fully deserved to win on the day.
My oh my. Barnsley gave us as good a spanking as I can remember in 40 years watching us.
They were just miles ahead of us in every department.
Unless that was a one off, that's likely to be one of the promotion places sorted out.
Thought we were the better team in the first half, but lacked pace up front, where Wilbraham seems too cumbersome despite some decent touches leading to many moves fizzling out after good build up play.
Super save from the Cods keeper just before they went ahead.
Second half, we messed around...
Well, you have us 24th in your guess at the final table, and you seem to think that Hendo is past it and that Calvin has never had it.
Sweeping enough in my view... perhaps you might wait a while before trying to back up what is after all, merely a guess.
Quite a few on here praised our...
