Wow, just wow, what a performance to beat Brackley 4-1 tonight with 2 goals apiece for Mike Calverley and our supe CB, Mark Ellis who now has 10 for the season! A terrific game with both teams at it straight from the kick off, no quarter asked or given by either side, it was a great evenings...

Can't believe the turn around in our form, unbeaten now in 8 and won last three, terrific 3 points today away at Kiddy, now on to a tough home game on Tuesday against Brackley, all to play for again.

Good display from the Magpies who confidently beat full time Buxton with goals from Ellis, Blakeman and Calverley, after the first 20 minutes Buxton offered little threat and Chorley were able to extend their unbeaten ru will be much more difficult on Aaturday at Kiddie.

Well Chorley surprised me again, after a mediocre display against Southport ended goalless we managed to take all 3 points at Scarboro despite falling behind twice I the game. Much better performance and 3 goals, just hope that isn't February's ration of goals all used up before it's even started.

Unfortunately we have had a crop of injuries, I think at one point we had 7 regulars out and all with lengthy recovery periods, it is easing now but still missing key players. We just aren't performing and don't look like scoring.

Another dismal goalless draw for Chorley at Southport. Two mediocre teams creating nothing in a bore draw. See Chorley sliding into mid table mediocrity Southport already there and won't climb the table.

    National League North 2024/25

Another very poor performance from Chorley, sad to say butcan only see us sliding down the table to mid table mediocrity. We are lacking strength, can't score and are slow at the back it's all gone pear shaped.

    National League North 2024/25

Very poor performance from Chorley in a goalless draw at home to Peterboro Sports looked disjointed, lacked width and appetite for the game, on this sort of form we will fall away from the play off contenders very quickly, awful display.

Looking forward to the first of 3 home games in 8 days tonight with the visit of Peterboro Sports, good news is worst of the injury crisis seems to be over and further good news the extension of loans for Dubem Eze and Jack Moore to the end of the season. Looking for 3 points tonight.

Chorley finally got back to winning ways though bottom placed Rushall did make it harder than it perhaps should have been. Good to see players finally returning to the side following a lengthy and difficult spell of injuries, hopefully over the worst of them now, need to consolidate with couple...

    National League North 2024/25

Well the 7 injuries finally caught up with us, even first half we were never in it in the second, Curzon well drilled but spoil and break,up play at every opportunity, Referee was abysmal, no quarrel with Wilson sending off, let himself and team down but really Curzon should have had 2 red...

Delighted to get the three points, 4 of our starting 11 were 19 years old, 2 making their debuts, taking into account the wait for the "Home team" to arrive at the ground it was a super result. Really looking forward to the clash with Curzon at Victory Park on Saturday, bring it on!

We have the horror of going to Buxton and having to play Farsley, just hope we have enough players fit to make up a team, very concerned at the moment.

Much depleted squad today still proved far too god for Marine to progress into the next round of the Trophy by 3-1. Quite concerned about the number of injuries but have to say the lads who stepped up did very well. Just a silly County Cup game Tuesday when surely the kids will play before a...

Have to say I think Kidderminster are the ones to watch, very impressive form of late, it's a very close league but think Kiddie will pull away from the pack over the course of the next few weeks.

    The shit strikers thread

Very pleased to get 3 points today against a decent Leamington side who worked hard and played good football.l throughout the game. The Magpies were slightly depleted through a number of injuries today meaning a debut start for young Fylde loanee Danny Ormerod who soon showed his worth with a...

    National League North 2024/25

Chorley went from best performance of the season on Saturday to the worst tonight. Never in the game, couldn't handle the bounce or pace of the ball on this surface, every credit to Marine they thoroughly deserved their big win tonight.

    National League North 2024/25

Excellent performance by Chorley against a horrible, moaning whingeing outfit, nearly as bad as Alfreton! Got an odd opener as they failed to deal with aclong throw into the 6 yard box, the ball going in off a defender. We added a second just before HT with a superb strike from edge of area by...

Very tough game for Chorley today with the visit of form team Kings Lynn, we will need to be at it right from the off today. Have just signed young Fylde striker Danny Ormerod on loan to help us with our injury concerns, he comes with quite a good reputation.

Yes, Dave we ended up signing 11 new players as you said we lost our top 3 scorers from last season but are still top scorers in the league this season, and we aren't throwing wads of cash at the team.
