Perhaps, trying to be positive, we can try and finish the season behind closed doors, providing the virus is contained at a sufficiently low level. Hopefully we wouldn't necessarily have to rely on a vaccine in the meantime.

I kind agree that in the wider context, football is less relevant for some people. I also agree that some of the football community have acted like complete knobs.

Sport, not just football is far from irrelevant. It will be vital to lift the mood of the country and get the economy going again, to a certain extent.
There are issues to overcome, but things need to be resolved before things can start afresh.
If this really is the case, let's hope that as many of the clubs who have either won their league, or were going to/very likely to, are successful next season.

You're not wrong, you only have to watch the 47 hours of daily coverage on the BBC. Obviously 4 daily bulletins just aren't enough, and that's not including the daily briefing before the 6 o'clock news.
I voted that next season should proceed as 'normal' . However, the League Cup and Trophy should be binned, the latter permanently, in its current set up.
