Doesn't always work like that. We needed to beat Wrexham on the final day of the 99/00 season, they had nothing to play for, we had 4000+ there cheering us on. Lost 1-0!! On the flip side we relegated Notts on the final day a few years back when we had nothing to play for.

All this after they have gone back to being 4 sided again......ah well. To be fair, the place is as dull as fuck, like a Hertfordshire version of Swindon. A place you go through to go somewhere else.
