Eastbourne Borough/Maidstone now off due to covid.
Sadly with how things are going there's noway this season is actually going to finish. Nearly 3 months into the season and we've only played a quarter of our games.
Just to put things into perspective, since the 18th of November we have only...
5 boxing day games in the National South already called off due to covid, with the way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if a few more also go the same way.
Going by that video it seems a fair few teams don't think its right for football at this level to continue why covid is out of control in the south and also because no one is testing their players on a regular basis.
Dorking's owner/manager seems to think the National South will shortly be suspended, apparently a fair few teams don't want to continue.
7.20 mark onwards for anyone who wants to watch
It was more of a tongue in cheek comment, because in this whole situation Jim has normally been quick to comment when anyone has questioned his handling of this situation.
Our owner has been ranting on twitter for days now about wanting this report published
Meanwhile hospitals in Kent are now close to capacity Major backlog as hospital 'reaches capacity'
We seem to be sleep walking into a disaster & the idiots of this county don't seem to care. As long as they get their normal Christmas, fuck everything else seems to be the approach around here.
Seriously if there not going to bother enforcing social distancing don't plaster pictures of it all over your official twitter account glorifying it......its really not the brightest idea.
We're now 4th worst affected in the country, there's zero chance we will be moving out of tier 3 anytime soon.
Mad to think this stupid xmas free for all is even being allowed, let alone promoted by some people in government.
