As someone mentioned earlier, for us it's all about taking/missing chances. We almost always make loads of chances but I just can't see it being anything like the Newport thrashing on Tuesday. Tight 1-1 for me.
Very comfortable win in the end which surprised me a little as Barnet are fighting for their league existence. We played with some good quality again and should have been more than 3. Barnet seem to have a bit of a threat up front as you would expect but were very poor everywhere else.
I was thinking the same thing Adam. Barnet will be scrapping for their league existence so it will not be pretty. Possibly similar to the recent Cheltenham game?
I believe so. It appears he was trying to protect Danny Rose who was on the receiving end of a string of abuse from your bench at the time. This was after he had received an elbow from your player who was sent off. As I said, an absolute disgrace.
Cheltenham were an absolute disgrace. The worst I have seen for a long time and I would expect better from a team with such a (usually) decent manager. Even he was sent to the stands for pushing Raynor. Justice was done in the end but this was not a good advert for league 2 football.
I have friends who are Imps fans and have told me the details about the recent upturn over there. There is quite a good element of 'football in the community' etc which keeps the youngsters interested. This increase in interest can only be a good thing for Lincoln and league 2 football overall...
Don't understand how you see 'average' as a play-off place. According to that logic, teams in 4th-7th place will gain the average number of points? Please explain.
