From the kick off we play the ball back to James McKeown EVERY time, who then 50% of the time will bang it long and out of play
And
Everytime we are facing a corner we bring EVERYONE back so that when the ball is cleared it just comes straight back in again.
So bloody annoying.
I'll roll out the same that I did when we played at Exeter over Christmas.
I can only see a comfortable home win here I'm afraid.
Tranmere bang in form, we're not. Only going to be one team winning tonight. 3 or 4-0 Tranmere.
Thought it deserved a mention in this day and age but goalie James McKeown, who will almost certainly play, will make his 400th appearance for the club tomorrow. He's been a fantastic servant over the years and played a big part in helping us back into the league.
A clean sheet would be a nice...
If you like adding new grounds to your "been to" list it's okay. I did 17 new ones in our first season down there.
The novelty did start wearing off in our 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th season down there though.
You'll also probably outnumber the home fans at a lot of games too.
Only been a sub for the games he's been here but did score a great lob at Yeovil for our 3rd. Missed a chance on Saturday that he should really have scored but from the limited time I've seen him he looks like he could do well here.
Edit..Just seen that he's playing for our reserves currently...
Back after a long weekend in Yeovil.
We didn't really need to get out of first gear. Okay McKeown did make a couple of decent saves but Yeovil were very poor and I'd be a bit worried if I were a Yeovil fan.
Good to see Kristian Dennis get off the mark with a great chip for the 3rd, the first...
Very good at set-pieces, James Norwood will be rubbing his hands I reckon.
Sad to see him go but as has been said he's been very hit and miss and is often a fair bit off the pace of the game but no ill feeling towards him, he obviously want to be a bit closer to home, and he goes with my best...
I think that might have been the season when Wimbledon were groundsharing at Selhurst Park before they were kidnapped and whisked off to Milton Keynes.
We drew with them 3-3 with barely 1000 in the ground. Very surreal atmosphere that day. Should be far, far better tomorrow.
Actually thinking...
It's surprised me how many we've sold for Palace. 5500 at the last count. I thought we'd struggle to shift our original allocation of 4100.
Lincolnshire will be pretty empty on Saturday I reckon. :bg...
I reckon we're going to need another Exeter-like performance from James McKeown to get anything from the game tomorrow.
Fast forward to 3 minutes in on this video to see just how good his performance on Saturday was.
