    Here you go Denzel.

    Grimsby v Notts

We didn't play that well today to be honest but Notts defence was atrocious. Might be a bit worried if I were a Notts fan though as we didn't have to get out of first gear today and Notts could be this season's Chesterfield.

    Grimsby v Notts

Not at all. Alex Whitmore came in for him when he was suspended recently and had a great game and was unlucky to be dropped back to the subs bench the next game, so it'll just be Whitmore in his place. To be honest Collins has had a couple of poor games recently so I'm not worried we'll miss...

    Sack Race - 2018/19

Apparently John Fenty settling out of court with Newell was financed by him taking all the empties left in Newell's office back to the off licence. :bg:

Stickied League 2 Away Support Thread 2024/25

We do seem to have a decent record at home v Mansfield. I think it's the late 80's the last time you won here. I suppose a repeat of the New Years Day 2011 result would be a bit too much to ask for! Even in the season you won the Conference title we beat you 4-1. You were awful that day but...

Stickied League 2 Away Support Thread 2024/25

Not a league game but we've been given an allocation of 4,168 for our FA Cup tie at Crystal Palace. Initially on sale to season ticket holders from Saturday, 2 per ST. £15 adults £10 OAPS £5 under 18. Don't think we'll sell them all but I'd hope for between 2 and 3k to travel.

    Facilities for away fans...........

I'm going back some time now but the worst away ends I've ever experienced were Barnsley's Oakwell before it was developed, The away end was a big slagheap where the bogs were just a wall that you could look over and watch the game going on whilst you had a piss and Wigan's old Springfield Park...

    Checkatrade Trophy 2018/19 Thread

That was to watch their first team though. I doubt that half of the Stoke fans there didn't even know who any of their players were!

    Checkatrade Trophy 2018/19 Thread

Strange lot them Stoke fans. 4000 turning up to see their Under-21's in a competition no one (apart from Lincoln) give a toss about!

    FA Cup 2018/19

What clown decided Man Utd v Reading deserves to be screened live. A has-been Premier League team v a struggling Championship one. I also can't see the point of Wolves v Liverpool. That fixture already happens twice this season. Plenty of other ties more worthy of a live showing than those two.

Must say that he's not done much whilst he was here but I was one of the few hundred Mariners who witnessed his excellent hat-trick on the last day of last season at FGR, so there is a player in there somewhere.

JJ Hooper joins Bromley on a 1 month loan from us. Must say that he's not done much whilst he was here but I was one of the few hundred Mariners who witnessed his excellent hat-trick on the last day of last season at FGR, so there is a player in there somewhere.

Like printing money was that today. Bookies don't often get it wrong but they did today.

    FA Cup 2018/19

Must say that I'm a little bit surprised to see that the bookies make Chesterfield favourites for our game tomorrow. I have a rule of never betting on my own team but 2/1 to win is quite tempting!

    FA Cup 2018/19

It wasn't directly after them beating us though. They then beat Doncaster Rovers in their 2nd round game before they drew Man Utd. We'd have been even more gutted had we beaten Exeter and then lost to Donny. We did draw Arsenal at home in the FA Cup in the 85/86 though, when we lost 4-3 but...

It wasn't all bad. We took Rob Duffy off your hands not long after. :bg:
