I know this is a tad early but it's both of our next games, and we didn't play last weekend either. Need a thread!
The table could look more daunting should Preston win their 2 games between now and this game.
Should be a good one this!
Hopefully home advantage will help, as we really need...
I fear you're right, but it could work in our favour should Preston slip up as that'll give us a massive boost, and it'll then be in our own hands too, knowing we also have go to Preston.
The table won't make good reading if they win their next few games though, games in hand or not.
Wow. What an important turnaround that could (hopefully) be!!!
Amazing result.
That'll do their confidence the world of good too, winning it in injury time.
Get in!
MK Dons aren't out of it at all yet.
We all thought Preston were 4 weeks ago, now look. A lot can happen/change between now and the end of season.
Law of averages says Preston will have a little blip at some point.
They better fucking do anyway!! :)
Form starting to pick up again.
A tough ask but we really need to be winning to keep the pressure on, especially as we don't play Saturday. The table won't make for good reading If we lose and preston win tomorrow and Saturday.
Hoping we'll sneak it. I'll go for a very optimistic 0 - 1.
There's isnt a team in any of the 4 divisions that doesn't have certain players who dive, fake injury or time waste.
I'm afraid we've got a reputation for it more than most which is disappointing.
However, people are acting like their own clubs are totally innocent of it.
Let's just all...
I can't believe Vale are still going on about 2004 and our Hartlepool game. It was 1 - 1 by the way. Surely if we were playing out for a draw it would've been 0 - 0, no?
By the way, I don't like Vale much either. It was about 2004 (or earlier) when I went to Vale Park to watch us win...
I know what you mean Dan, and there's logic behind your point.
However I'd rather have a few seasons in the bottom half of the championship (where the extra revenue will help the club for years) than beating Accrington Stanley for the league 2 title under a manager that nearly bankrupted the...
Given our gameplay all season has been possession based, sometimes it takes a little patience, particularly with such a young team. We've been winning in a few games and attacking, but if the winger (for example) has the ball and is crowded out, he passes it back to a defender on the halfway...
Our next 3 games are away, then MK Dons at home followed by Bristol City away. We still have to go to Preston too.
Bearing the above in mind, and that Preston are already two clear of us and a game in hand, they're clear favourites for 2nd.
Still quite a few games left still though; anything...
