Carlisle away. Top of League 2 v 5th in League 1 should throw up a decent game.
With our crap away form I can't see us winning. I'd be happy with a draw and think we'd beat Carlisle at home. Annoying as Jim Beglin dropped our ball in the draw and set up an away tie instead...
Think this will...
Bolton , Bradford, Sheff U are all where I'd expect them to be given budgets etc. Strangley though from the games I've seen against them 1-0W v Bolton and 1-1D v Sheff U neither looked that impressive but that of course is the exception to the norm if the team is around the top 2. I didn't go...
Managed to plan a holiday for one of my favourite away fixtures so gutted to miss this. Both squads seem to have a few injuries. Score draw the result prediction for me. I'm off to try and find a Romanian stream of Soccer Saturday.
Totally undeserved draw vs Maidstone for Dale but makes the journey home a bit easier. Assuming we get through I want someone less that 250 miles away.
I hope for Halifax or Stockport away each year. Would be interesting to renew rivalries with either.
Personally want a localish non league side away. Alty, Stockport, Halifax, Southport, Curzon Ashton. Can see us getting something like MK Dons at home.
The bad feeling about the game has now dissipated. Too many cynical fouls from Bury's players ruined their chances. Business as usual for Dale , win to nil at home v Bury.
I've got a bad feeling about this one. Despite our recent discovery of how to win again Bury are surely due a league win at Dale after what must be 9/10 years.
Rate looking forward to the game. I'll be happy with a draw away to one of the fancied promotion teams but if we play as well as Tuesday there's no reason we can't nick a win.
I haven't said I disagree with your opinion. Dale usually have c250 away fans at a London away game, we should take more with a cheaper ticket offer. Will it be a following of 1000? Will it fuck. The seemingly obsessive nature you monitor all things related to Rochdale's crowd sizes is amusing...
Will this definitely apply to away fans too? I seem to recall a few clubs in the last few years have managed to get out of applying cut price ticket offers to away fans.
