Whichever way you do it the accounts must be wrong. How do you explain the income from 8000 tickets sold when your official attendance is 7000. It just doesn’t tally.
I’m not pointing the finger at Grimsby, but when someone says their club accounts by numbers attending rather than tickets sold there’s a huge anomaly. It makes no difference if people have bought a ticket but don’t bother turning up - the club have their income.
Surely tickets sold = income. If youve Sold 6000 tickets @£20 that’s £120,000 in income. If you only declare 5000 in attendance then there is £20,000 unaccounted for.
Second half we were pretty good - albeit Tranmere were embarrassingly poor and you’re right, that left back was a disaster.
