Peterborough have a smell of MK Dons a few years ago at this level.
Play off side one year and then dropped the next. "Too good to go down" and just eventually got done by sides who had more battle and spirit. From what I can see the bottom four have plenty of fight in them to varying degrees...
Graham Alexander loves an Ex County player doesn't he?
He looked raw with pace, defending was suspect though. He didn't get loads of opportunities here.
You play wing backs don't you? LWB I'd be inclined to think he could do OK. If you play a back four and asking him to play LB I'd be concerned.
Olaofe for the tackle second half or was there something else?
If it's for the tackle, I would say yellow personally watching it on the stream. One of your defenders did a very similar one on Olaofe minutes before and was only given a yellow. Both poor tackles but yellows 8 or 9 times out of...
Really good away win for us that at Leyton Orient. First half we were very good, second half we sat back which we're usually not very good at but I don't think think Leyton Orient created a proper chance all game. They can have no complaints with the result in my opinion.
Wrexham are loaded. They are more than happy to just force players out, not register them etc because they've got the financial muscle to absorb it.
They don't have to work like other clubs and think of re-sale value, age profiles etc.
They released a player in the summer and then were...
I thought you thoroughly deserved to win at Edgeley Park.
I don't see us winning the game if I'm honest, wouldn't say no to a hard earned away point. I rate you lot, I think you've got some really tidy players. Beckles always looks a proper centre half to me, bonus for us if he's out.
Another one for Carlisle by the looks of things. How many would that be if they pulled this one off? Was in the Dutch u21 squad not long ago, must have something about him
@detelegraaf Veel berichten zeggen dat Carlisle United uit de League Two geïnteresseerd is in de Groningse middenvelder Low...
Just going to say, it's a tale as old as time.
You get the odd one that comes off but any club that is hanging their hat on this type of signing and it goes wrong isn't particularly unlucky.
That's the problem.
On the face of it, 1.5 mill for Millenic Alli is a great deal for Exeter but it will possibly be money that is just burning a hole in their pocket for the remainder of the season. If they can pocket it for the summer (which it looks like they are) and can stay up, good deal...
Absolutely. I'm only messing around re: Clough, AdamStag knows that.
There is a reason managers like Clough, Challinor and Parkinson are in the top 5 longest serving EFL managers at their current clubs. They all have done excellent jobs but more importantly they never let things gets out of...
Cloughie on the beach now he's won his cup final at Edgeley Park. Did the same last year when you won at ours in early January. Didn't regain any form until about March, which basically set us up to win the League Two title. Thanks for that, Nigel.
Colchester's pitch a pudding again I see.
I'm sure someone has mentioned it but last season they changed the dimensions of their pitch (narrower) so they could effectively make a problem part of their pitch not needed so they could get through inspections. They just about managed to get all...
I think the difference is you're in good form and actually playing well by the sounds of things. We've strung 3 wins together but performances look quite laboured.
I would probably agree it will be tight. Would be content with a point.
We were honking tonight. We played better when Wycombe gubbed us 5 zip.
Shrewsbury fought hard but ultimately if they weren't going to take the bull by the horns and get something there, they never will.
Social media saying Parkinson is fighting for his job.
Is it that bad? It would seem extremely harsh to sack him after this.
You only have to look over to Mansfield Town to see what failure really looks like.
Looks like we dodged a bullet with Hutton. I remember when Gillingham were buzzing after nabbing him off us by offering more wages. He was in a hotel in Manchester waiting to sign the next day as the story goes.
I get it to be honest. I think you have a great opportunity to get in the top 2, an extra something might be the difference.
Birmingham will probably win it. Not the Harlem Globetrotters of League One their fans fancied though. Just got the best squad, with quality there to get enough easy...
