I think a draw is on the cards.
Maybe Rovers will get their usual 90th minute winner against us, as they always seem to do.
This will be a good benchmark for where the squad are at - it will be interesting to taste the difference between this years squad and last years League-winning squad...
Exactly what we are all thinking.
Doesn't appear to have pulled up any trees in the past four years, but I suppose we'll see.
I think it is just a short-term deal to have an extra striker whilst Lisbie gets back to fitness.
Very good win.
Both teams intent on playing long ball, which both defences seemingly picked off in the first half.
The game really changed when Luke Gambin came on for Tomlinson on the left-wing. He tore the Northampton right-back to shreds and had ran half the length of the pitch to set up...
Of course it's not tough for you, you're meant to be up there by the end of the season - but surely it is unfair to suggest it was an easy game in the end... It wasn't an easy game for you, in fact I'd suggest you only really turned up for the last 30 minutes. If you do have automatic promotion...
Some were angry with the reaction of your fans to us going down, admittedly I have no idea what happened but apparently there's some historical background to it.
Not according to the chairman or high-up staff - according to those living in close proximity to The Hive, there's been one or two...
My theory on the number of fans we have lost:
I think that as a result of the move, we lost somewhere in the region of 400-500 fans, many of whom used to come regularly as families. I know of at least 20 people from my sixth form that used to watch Barnet regularly in the Underhill days, but...
Don't expect much from us Cobblers, on the attendance and performance front.
2,500 with 1,000 Cobblers - poor but it is Barnet.
I expect a closely fought game with superior finishing to put the game to bed - 2-0 Northampton.
Absolute despise Wycombe, the diving, cheating, time-wasting scummers.
Do you actually play like that every week?
It was genuinely painful to watch, especially when your 6'3' goalkeeper started writhing about on the floor after he dived over Akinde's feet. Little cheat.
Isn't it just fate that the last FL fixture at Underhill happens to be the same fixture that opens our FL campaign at The Hive. Spooky...
As for our line-up, off the back of our cup upset against Millwall, I expect confidence to be high and this to be the team:
-------------------- Stack...
Wow, what a performance and what a day. Unreal from the players and great support from the Bees fans too.
Every player had at least a 7/10 game, with Dembele, Nelson, Gambin and Akinde having stormers.
Players looked tired after 80 minutes but summoned that extra bit of strength to carry on...
