Started the season in central midfield and was ok. Moved out wide since then and been ineffective (it's not his natural position) and seems to have lost confidence with result that he's looked totally out of it. He's one of the players on a two year contract.
True, suspect he made a good impression at the interviews. However, having watched a number of his post-match interviews and seen some of his live presentations, he came across as being only interested in self-publication and complaining about his lot. He and the team look like the walking dead...
If I disagreed with you I'm not sure how I repeated all your points. :conf:
You didn't answer the question I raised tho', which was "Had they put it to you in September that changing managers would use up the reserve, what would you have voted for? "
Woking A - cert Loss - it's a fundamental law of the universe
Eastleigh H - Draw
Orient H - Loss - they'll want it more than us
D&R A - Draw if 0-0 at HT otherwise lose 3-0
Bignot's excuses get worse with each abject display. By end of month we offer to trade him to Halifax in exchange for Neil...
And there was me thinking the Harry Mac'ers would offer to vacate that stand as well ... after all they're always saying the West Standers shouldn't complain when it happens to them. :bg:
We've brought in in defender Shaun Hobson on loan until the end of season from @afcbournemouth. Presumably he's a freebie, given we're trying to offload players.
Usual practice would be for you to have the south and west stands, and there'll be a buffer space at the ends next to the home fans.
I think the risk of not completing the season is minimal, the problem is mainly one of cash-flow.
You don't read DevaChat then :). As with previous years the reserve was used as a buffer. Had they put it to you in September that changing managers would use up the reserve, what would you have voted for? There are no easy decisions to be had.
Thankfully we have the prospect of having proper...
The budget assumed crowds similar to last season, which wasn't very high. The increase in the playing budget was from funded from a player sale. Crowds have been down on average (ie the paying supporters, but not season ticket holders), meaning a shortfall that would have been covered by the...
Trouble is we don't score first at home, and then it is game over for us. We are prime relegation candidates because psychologically we look like a team of shell-shocked World War 1 soldiers. Bignot doesn't look like the answer, might as well have kept McCarthy and saved some money.
