I'm not too downbeat.
Portsmouth were quite superb in the first 45, as good as I've seen a team at this level tbh.
Having said that, we were so naive.
You won't get away with passing across your own box when the opposition quickly clock that you don't want to pass back to your keeper, because...
We have more than enough of those down here already, thanks.
This is just the boost we needed, so let's just hope it happens.
It's strange looking at the league table and seeing us below the plastics.
It's just not right.
I follow my traditional non league side because it makes me piss my pants when we out play, frustrate and humiliate you "big" boys who are also down here in the lower reaches of the English pyramid.
How sad and desperate you all are.
The day we re-enter the Southern league I will cheer, as will...
Apologise to all if my comparison offended.
I actually think of Cambridge as a non league club, as I clearly remember them first entering the football league as late 1969(I think).
A good few seasons back out the league did little to expand the size of the club too.
I think our average crowds...
Because crowds win games.
I was complimentary to Cambridge before the game, and that won't change now after a positive result.
I won't gloat, but can we play you every week?
I don't mind a big club with a big following talking our club down, but I won't accept the likes of Cambridge doing so.
We...
It's good to see Cambridge back up where they belong and doing well.
Looking forward to the trip, having been twice in the Conference days(one win/one defeat)
I can't see anything other than a Home win, we are light upfront.
I would be ecstatic to come away with a point.
Not bitter at all.I think I've called it right. We were garbage 2nd half.
I fail to see where me admitting this is making me sound bitter.
If I were to feel bitter after every defeat, then I would possibly be the most bitter person in England come what May.
I predict a season of struggle unless...
I'm looking forward to are game with Peterborough.Im also looking forward to are game against you, will be good to see a packed away end, if not a home one.
Are home atmosphere isn't the best, just like are team this year.
If we can get a result at London Road then I fancy us to go on a little...
Calm down dear.
Hardly a WUM, I've been around these forums for a number of years.
I stand by my comments....Newport brought shame to our home a few years back.
It's not been forgotten, and quite rightly so if you ask me.
We played you at our old Town Mead ground in the FATrophy in the mid 80'sYou were conference(Gola as it was), and we were southern premier.CTFC 0-2 WWFC
There are some sad, bitter people on here?
The table doesn't lie, you end up where you end up on merit.
At least we are now doing things with a sustainable budget....we have no budget.
