Don't know what the feck we were doing after we scored, it was like someone flicked a switch and we went right into our shell. No doubt there was more urgency from you but there was more to it than that. It certainly wasn't an instruction from our bench, Artell more or less said he didn't know...

Away fans who live far from the sea get so excited by Cleethorpes sea front that they do the donkey rides and candy floss and forget about the football... Actually, that's about the allocation now - 1,150 ish. Plenty of unsold seats in the home Osmond corner which I was a bit surprised to see...

    FA Cup 2024/25

The numbers don't work for a big price reduction with your ground like they don't at Blundell Park. We don't even reduce much the League Cup. We got about 5.5k at £22 for a L2 v L1 (Burton) FA Cup tie last time in the 3rd round. We reduce to a tenner and get home sell out - that's about 7k, the...

I think this season it's been reduced slightly - something 1158. Forest got 1,250 for the League Cup 3 years back and that's the highest it's been without away fans having the Osmond Corner.

A crafty toot from a hip flask is good as well - can be smuggled in within a tube of Pringles - although I've only done that for cricket not footie...

Nah - like Lincoln fans, they didn't all turn up because of a bit cold weather...they didn't appreciate the benefit of that either, it means the dogshit is frozen solid...

It's not clear what the per match fee is on the EFL Q and A on the deal. It's subject to negotiation amongst the clubs. So the Championship nab most of the per match pot and half a crown left for league 2...

    Saturday 11th January

I wouldn't say terrible comms - there were several comms updates for a start, and I'm sure the club did some sample checks on the state of the pitch under the covers. Clearly the covers can't be removed in full if it's freezing because that would let the frost in. Overly optimistic I think is...

Yes. Our track record in front of a small, shivering, silent crowd at Blundell Park on a Tuesday night is excellent

Brought more than Crewe to Blundell Park. Not difficult but perhaps a milestone for MK.

I'd like a glorious failure this year though - a bit like the Bristol Rovers defeat.

Yes that's it, I expect we have more exile fans proportionally than other clubs (hence high away followings in the London area especially) they are probably better paid than the NE Lincs average wage, so a season ticket isn't that costly compared to income. That really shows up with Tuesday...

As I said above it's relative. Attendances everywhere fell in 1970's and more dramatically in the 80s. We were very badly affected - double whammy of the local economy affected by fishing fleet disappearing and a bad hoolie problem. Our current attendances are good compared to the mid 80s. But...

Yes but it doesn't seem to make any difference - the incentives are very limited. Last home game was a virtual sell out - a few singles and limited view seats left on the morning, but about 700 no shows.

Don't you mean home tickets sold thread? A home attendance thread would be just us and Vale fans moaning about how many STH didn't turn up.

Based upon the Thursday night game v us I would say tickets sold. 10k was reported with 1,450 from us. Looked about 8k. Bradford yesterday looked about 14k home fans. Typically about 12% of our STH don't attend. The sub 4k attendance referred to above was an exceptional with about 25% not...

I didn't say pathetic - I said shite. And that's relatively - relative to our long history. Our average crowd over our entire history is 7,700. Notts' is 9,700. Other examples are Chesterfield - 6,200, Doncaster - 7,200. So Notts and Chesterfield are both achieving average tickets sold above...

No - was in the Corn Dolly pre-match. I'm not Irish, the only one in the family that can't get an Irish passport unfortunately - a very useful thing to have. I just worked there. And of course the original Limerick Mariner is Holy Joe Waters, who was born there.

The first 10 mins were ok... I think it's time to say what is the point of Jordan Davies? Our supposed main attacking midfielder signing yet it needs youth Luker to come on and provide the energy, wanting the ball and trying to make things happen. Was always a tough game for the last of 4 in...
