I really don't know what result is ideal in the Plymouth game, sure Carlisle are closer and we could be ahead of them come Saturday but Plymouth aren't in great form either and we still have them at home so catching them too is possible. I'll take a scrappy 1-0 win tomorrow though,
Ah I wondered when Andrew Evans would appear. Got the kid on facebook, well I say kid I think he's about 40. He generally posts about 30-50 statuses a day ranging from a picture of his lunch (chicken in support of Blackburn), a video of him singing a football related song which I swear he makes...
Big game for both teams, personally I'd take a point now. It's not that I don't think we can win the game, more that Carlisle have a tough run in and can still be caught even if we don't beat them.
Looking at Carlisle's results and seeing no clean sheet since October is encouraging but the...
As usual we just can't seem to win 3 games on the bounce, a points not the end of the world especially as we didn't play well and alot of the other top 7/8 drew.
I was a tad worried when I saw Blackpool had scored 4 at Carlisle but after watching the highlights and seeing such bad defending I'm more confident.
Hope we join in with some Oyston out chants, not sure if we have any Blackpool fans on here but are the Oystons likely to be there?
Really disappointing, I didn't go or listen but we had 16 shots but only 2 of those on target.
Next two games are huge, Accrington and Blackpool at home in 4 days. Not sure if we can really afford anything other than 6 points.
I'm hoping that our inconsistency continues this weekend because a defeat here is not going to help the negativity around the club.
Thankfully Smith has left and Doyle will replace him. Hearing that Akinfenwa has a knock? We struggle against big men so that would be a bonus.
I'd take a point...
Agree with Bucket, Exeter deserved the win, sure we hit the post and had some pressure late on but Exeter closed us down, won pretty much every second ball and didn't let us settle. Exeter this season's Northampton?
If anything today was easier to take than the losses against Stevenage and...
Signed Nicke Kabamba from Hampton & Richmond. Him and Jamal were scoring goals for fun a few leagues below and formed a good partnership. Signing them both will help them both settle too.
He started off bright but we took off Evans at half time so Carl Baker ended up playing RB so we tried to play mainly down the left as Lowe was playing out wide on right. He didn't see much of the ball towards the end but was good to finally see him on the pitch.
We have got to start killing games off. Game went pretty much as expected, Smith held the ball up well but literally what has to happen for him to have a shot. Clearly has no confidence and I don't know if we can keep pursuing with him if he's afraid to shoot.
