Agree.
Result aside, it was probably one of the Top 5 awaydays in a season of cracking awaydays.
Excellent stadium and atmosphere. Direct train from Radlett on ThamesLink, cracking pub by the river (Anchor & Hope).
The reported crowds for those Fill the Valley games were inflated as well. They counted thousands of tickets that were not used rather than the numbers actually attending.
The capacity at the Valley is just over 27,000. They recorded a 24,886 attendance for our game. It was a good crowd but...
3 or 4 quality saves but I'd save the "if it wasn't for...." for the Conference standard forwards who couldn't hit a barn door sitting on the handle. Lucked out with the Rooney signing. Wish him and Banks had taken on more shots.
Need 4 points from the next 2 games just to get the momentum to...
If I were to guess, I'd say 800 was possible but I might be surprised.
There seem to be far more families/dads travelling with young kids than I remember and they won't be put off by the relatively rubbish travel and general awayday experience outside the stadium. (pot calling the kettle...
Apologies.
The soft spot suitable for Posh, Gills, et al, is a swamp - the deeper and smellier the better.
(Mark Bonner and Paul Warne seem to have set up a Mutual Admiration Society based on recent interviews)
I have a soft spot for you, Posh and anyone else who employed Fatty and Shouty - excluding ourselves (apologies for getting Shouty started) and Rovrum, who seem to be having a mini love-in of mutual admiration at the moment.
You may be pleased to know that Josh set his first foot on a new career path last night.
When I looked across, he was on the mike providing summariser commentary for the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire coverage of our FA Youth Cup game against Forest.
He seemed to be in his element, subsequently...
My preferred outcome is that you win all of them or, failing that, lose all of them.
The 4 points that I see you getting will mean you'll need some away grit/luck at the likes of Morecambe, Accrington and Lincoln to avoid our final game of the season being a nervous affair - I fear for both...
I can't think of a worse (better :animatedf: ) combination of lower league opposition and ground for the Fancy Dans from the West End to go than the current Luton team/style at the Kenny.
I can't think of a more fitting experience for the Moneybags supporting fans to "enjoy" than the walk past...
With our small squad and multiple injuries, especially at CB (1st 3 choices out) but also missing Ironside and Tracey up top, selecting our side will be very straightforward. There'll be a few kids on the bench who are unlikely to feature or we may only name 7 subs.

Williamson, Okedina...
Are you sure you've got the right Longstaff? I agree he looked better than L1, never mind L2, level in his debut season and he did score that goal. But he didn't feature (or shine) much last season and couldn't get in the Aberdeen team this season - hence the move to a "lower" level.
How can...
I generally find that a smile and a "How's your week going," gets a warmer response than a scowl and an expletive. So I'll take your "No Reasons" with a pinch of salt.
I heard that the reason we had to make special effort to find a programme (another steward accompanied us to a seller in the...
I think there were 110 of us at Windy Fleetwood.
At least two of us also stopped over to enjoy some Lancs culture, food and Wigan beer before being warmly welcomed by some friendly fans and stewards at Bolton.
Hope we're less generous to our hosts on our next visit to the county on Good Friday.
