Accrington Stanley 4 Burnley 2........Burnley were 3-0 down after 7 minutes.:eyes:
If Accy can put four past us, we could concede even more against Rangers at Ibrox next week.
How can I look forward to a new season back in the "crappy" second-rate Championship?
Last season we were mixing it against some of the best players in the world on a weekly basis and taking 4 points off Manchester City, drawing at Chelsea and "outplaying" Manchester United at Old Trafford...
Bamford has not exactly been a good luck charm for Derby or Boro - both missing out in the play-offs after his loan spells there.
I remember two seasons ago and Derby were 2nd behind only Leicester BEFORE they brought Bamford and Thorne in on loan. Same last season, they were again in an...
You are very wrong!! Dyche signed Heaton on a free in the summer of 2013 along with TWO more frees Scott Arfield and David Jones. All three were virtually ever-present in the 93-point promotion campaign and in the Premier League season.
Dyche has also signed George Boyd, who won most of the...

I posted the Vossen deal sealed a couple of hours ago on Page 78.
£2.5 million fee and three-year deal .
Burnley are also set to get young Everton striker Chris Long and Liverpool's Jerome Sinclair on loan.
Was Long any good for Brentford last season?
Probably, because Derby will offer him a LONGER deal than Burnley are willing to.
But it will cost Derby more than they really want to pay for a soon-to-be 32 year-old......£3 million plus at a conservative estimate which wouldn't be bad considering we signed him from Derby 3 years ago for just...
If you mean surprise by doing better than expected, you are really restricted to teams who finished in the bottom half last season or have been newly promoted. I mean if Brentford made the play-offs again or even finished top two, it wouldn't be a major surprise.....likewise Wolves.
Reading...
Well, obviously Derby will sign whoever they want so that's 1st place taken care of - they might even break the 110-point barrier.
If Dyche stays the whole season and we make a few decent signings, I think Burnley will challenge for automatic again although we will fall short of our 93 points...
I hate lunchtime kick-offs (Leeds v Burnley), but Rotherham away on Friday night is fine......haven't a clue why but Burnley seem to play better under floodlights.
Burnley being linked with a loan move for Liverpool teenage striker Jerome Sinclair - know nothing about him except he might be being used so the Scousers don't have to pay so much for Ings.

In The Sun today (presumably Nixon), it has James Paterson being chased by Wolves, Burnley and Leeds - says Forest would prefer a player plus cash exchange deal because of their embargo restrictions.
Sean Dyche apparently ready to offer striker Lukas Jutkiewicz as part of any deal. Freedman...
Burnley boss Sean Dyche set to bid for £1.5 million-rated Genk striker Jelle Vossen, according to today's The Sun.
Can't say I'm too excited if he is replacement for Ings, as we will get £6 million-plus for Ingsy, and Vossen was not exactly a roaring success for Middlesbrough last season.
