A lot of Lincoln fans are in denial when it comes to receiving any sort of criticism, I'll give you that. But the Cowleys change our style to what division we're in, hence the frustration at being labelled long-ball thugs last season when we weren't, not compared to our National League winning...
Grimsby having to defend their hoofball tactics. Tiring, isn't it?
Meanwhile we're sat on top of L1 and playing liquid football. Funny how quickly things change.
Waterfall was pre-Cowley, so wouldn't have been on that much. Don't think he extended his contract during his time with us either so he'll have had a pay rise jumping up to L1.
Good signing. You just need to recruit Paul Farman and Sam Habergham and you're halfway there to building a National League-winning side that will get you to the quarter final of the FA Cup. Shame you missed out on Rheady.
Appleton is the administrator, the same guy who said he had no option but to let SISU take over Coventry I believe as they were the highest bidder.
Odd as the company Rubin & Partners did a decent job with Blackpool's receivership, albeit they were different circumstances and a different guy...
Crewe fans at it again on social media following the most recent revelations about Dario Gradi/Chelsea. Utterly depressing to see how supporters continue to apply their tribal nonsense to a subject matter as significant as this.
Rooney won't do much, he's past it. Might score the odd screamer but can't see him keeping up with the pace for the majority of games.
Think it's actually a fairly poor signing from Derby who should be looking at signing younger players with potential to improve.
Slocombe is another fantastic signing, he's too good to be in non-league. I have him down as a top end L2 keeper or even bottom end of L1 at a stretch.
New owners certainly not messing about.
