I actually think it highlights the lack of decent places to buy beer in Torquay. I've only done 24, haha.
From the book, I remember particularly enjoying Budvar, Chimay Bleue, Hoegaarden (I especially love Hoegaarden), Manns Original, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Wells Banana Bread Beer.

If we'd like to go with themed weeks, how about these?
Electronic (Not sure on all the subgenres so there might be a better name for this)
Hip-Hop & Rap (Likewise)
Pop/R&B (Quite a wide and vague catagory)
Rock, Punk, Metal
Wildcard (An anything goes week for everything else)
This was the idea.
I always found Essential Listening great for hearing new music from genres outside of my comfort zone (which was just Heavy Rock, Punk and Metal when I first signed up). It's thanks to EL that I'm now a big fan of Nick Cave, and I'm pretty sure Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip...
1FFACAS, shirley?
Anyone know any decent sites for buying single bottles? I have a book called "300 Beers To Try Before You Die" and I'm starting to run out of ones to try that I can get hold of easily.
A decade ago (feeling old yet?), when I first starting posting on...the old place...there was an awesome feature called Essential Listening, run by Shakerandy. A few years later, in my tenure as the Music Forum Mod, I ran it myself, and after I left, I believe ZFG ran it for a while.
For those...
I'm currently watching Agent Carter, Constantine, Gotham and Lost. Waiting on the return of Agents Of SHIELD, Arrow/Flash, The Walking Dead and Game Of Thrones later in the year.
All are great at the moment , except Gotham which I've covered in another thread.
Lost is better than I was led to...
I read somewhere that Team Silent had effectively disowned it, which I can't understand at all. It fits perfectly into the lore, plays well, stands on its own and had some unique ideas. It's certainly no worse than the huge lore-destroying letdown Shattered Memories which everyone seemed to love.
Line-up looks tasty and Between The Buried And Me should never be missed, but I can't afford it. BTBAM are one of the best bands I've seen live, I doubt they'll play Fossil Genera in a festival setlist though so you'd miss out on the fun of a slow-motion mosh pit, haha.
8-strings ftw.
