Curzon v Chester
Leamington v Gateshead
Darlo v Telford
All falling to Covid.
Gutted was properly looking forward to being back on the terraces. Not sure what this will mean for our game against Brackley next Saturday.
It's a sensible decision albeit I'm sure very frustrating for both sets of fans who wanted to watch football again. For once the league has been fairly sensible, they haven't packed August with fixtures. In reality even If you had to isolate for 10 days from (yesterday?) You'll only miss one...
Despite a fairly awful pre-season, I still can't wait to be on the terraces to watch us take on Telford. Could all go wrong come Saturday tea time cause we're definitely still a couple of players short but as they say it's the hope that kills you. More just looking forward to watching football...
We still haven't landed an experienced CB or the extra CF we need so I can't out us any higher. Could all change if we can land a quality CB signing on perm or loan. Feel like we're not a million miles away but the pieces we are missing are important ones.
York
Boston
Flyde
Gateshead...
I'll give my prediction after our final friendly at the weekend. Hopefully by then we've signed David Wheater and Andrew Nelson and I might be able to bump us up a few places.
Going to be such a tough year to call.
Really hope he pulls through and back to his normal self ASAP. Had a properly fun rivalry with Bern and Jonno since their Salford days. Both absolute competitors when it comes to their teams but both seem like absolute genuine blokes off the pitch. Hope for him and his family's sake he's back to...
All paid for by the bank of uncle Brad. I mean credit to him he's funded a good side and some great ground improvement for them. They once tried crowd funding to replace the seats in the main stand. They only needed a few grand but the crowd funding mysteriously disappeared after a week or so...
Anything in particular giving you confidence Alfreton will be that high? From the look of what you've signed don't see that much improvement from last season and Billy Heath seems to have been increasingly found out at this level.
Still deciding on my list but think Kidderminster, Telford and...
Yeah I agree with that.
From a defensive and midfield stand point thought we looked good. Beeden won his duels which is what I was hoping for, especially against younger less physical opposition. Hope I thought was technically very decent, needs a bit more experience in terms of his defending...
It should be a really interesting league. Plenty of strong teams for this level. Your managers know how to prep teams to be competitive in this league. Brackley are always there or there abouts. Kidderminster, Gateshead and Gloucester are all full time so gives them advantages against part time...
Wouldn't have had Chorley at the top of the list. But I'd imagine top 3 will be some form of: Fylde, York & Boston.
Then for the remaining playoff spots you could take you pick from the likes of:
Chester
Brackley
Gloucester
Gateshead
Spennymoor
Kidderminster
Darlington
Chorley
And probably 1...
Fixtures confirmed as being released on 7th July at 1pm. Hoping for as normal attendance as possible by then as need to make up for the loss of last season with some in person games.
As a Hertfordshire exile from Darlo will be hoping for good dates for the Brackley, Kettering, Gloucester and...
Yeah pretty bang on for all counts. Manager has tried to sell it as stay another year and play like that again and by Christmas / end of the season it will be L2 clubs who are interested etc.
He's probably at an age now (mid 20's) where he'll feel like he can't really afford to not take full...
We've heard that we've offered him a good deal but there are 4 or 5 offers on the table and a few from full time clubs, so would certainly fit the bill if you were one of them.
Was brilliant for us last season, 7 goals and 3 assists in 14 games speaks for its self from a wide position. But...
Another tough league next year. I'd imagine York, Fylde and Boston will be fighting it out for top spot but genuinely any from another 9 or so teams will be thinking they could make up the rest of the playoff spots.
Can't believe he's still around tbh. Must be hard to get yourself excited for the season knowing exactly what's coming. He'll be out there as we speak, looking for more 6'0+ cloggers to elbow the opposition into submission. Your game vs Paul Cox and Kettering won't be one for the neutrals...

Only real loss in the above is Adam Campbell, pretty sure we would...
Ours has split opinion amongst the fan base.
Having played in hoops for most of the last 20 years a fair amount of fans thought that identity should be maintained. Unfortunately it seems sales of hooped shirts have suffered (there's only so many variations on hoops you can do) so the vote gave...
