Another big away win for us today, surely we can’t do it, can we?
3 points off with 4 to play, but four teams standing in our way above us in the table. Think our fixtures are probably too difficult, and our squad too small for it to realistically happen, but we can dream.
The quality of performance has been very poor since New Year, and aside from some good results against the very worst teams in the division we’ve barely won. Good start is masking what’s been a poor 20 or so games now.
But anyway, FT 1-0. Luton won’t have picked up an easier 6 points all...
Not there tonight but sounds like every other game we’ve played for the past 4 months. Miss early chances, let the opposition score with their first decent chance and then proceed to gift them an easy win. Doubt Luton will have to do much to secure the three points from here on out.
Robbed a point from Preston, really poor performance from us while they were probably the best side to come to Cov so far this season. Not a fan of some of their ‘tactics’ however, especially the persistent and aggressive fouling of O’Hare. Keith Stroud is a joke a of a ref and did very little...
We're somehow still only 3 points off the play-offs even though we've been shit three games in a row and are down to the barebones. Guess it helps that two of those shit performances came against Reading and Barnsley as we were able to get the wins, but I can't see us staying this close given...
I'm reasonably confident we won't be another Barnsley. We've improved every season under Robins (despite my general pessimism and moaning!). Plus, we genuinely play some really good stuff, not that Luton fans will have seen that given our horrendous display at their place! Also, unlikely...
Big win for us last night vs Stoke, and well deserved as well. Especially big considering the injuries we have and the side we started with. Didn't deserve to lose to QPR on Saturday, 4 points from those two games would have been massvie. Middlesbrough away on Saturday now, another 'six pointer'.
He’s not scored since the 4-1 win against Fulham back in October and hasn’t started in a while either. Godden has scored half our goals since then, he’s going to be a big miss. Hopefully Gyokeres can recapture his early season form but if he doesn’t we’re going to really struggle to score.
Thankfully I'm away at New Year so I'm missing that game either way. Play like we did tonight and it'll be your second easiest win of the season, after the reverse fixture of course.
I see Millwall cried to the league trying to get our game called off and have now named pretty much their strongest possible side with a full bench. If anything we’re missing more players than they are, one of which is our keeper. Some clubs are really trying to take the piss.
Two games in a two off for us thanks to the opposition, with zero Covid cases of our own reported, fantastic. Love having our season derailed by something we have no control over.
Hell of a result for us. We were pretty dire until Bournemouth had a man sent off but to go away to 2nd in the league, be 2-0 with 6 mins left on the clock and come away with a point is phenomenal, even if they were down to 10.
Unbelievable second half performance from us today. Down to 10 men, 1-0 down, then 2-1 and come back to win 3-2. Third game this season we’ve won at the Ricoh with a goal in added time as well. Must say however, Bristol City are dogshit. Worst team I’ve seen us play so far and it isn’t...
