After a reported "Money Meltdown" this could be a super time to be playing Cambridge. Last season they did the double over us and it is time for revenge.
The Abbey is normally a happy hunting ground for us. In the league - our last ten trips have been
W 7
D 2
L 1
Prior to last season we had...
From football-league site.
Surely to play after 31/8 - KM must have been registered with Port Talbot?
41.6.3 ‘Unemployed Player’ shall mean any Player who:
(a) has not at any time been registered with:
(i) a Member Club;
(ii) a club that is participating in The Football Conference (National...
Plymouth were very clinical against us as well. Reminds me of us under Calderwood - Adams worked with him at Hibs!
Moniz looked like a 1940s fighter pilot!
I always thought the rule was free agent can only sign if they were not contracted at 31/8/2015.
Mohamed has played for Port Talbot after this! I also remember reading the AFCW programme about the pain they had signing a player from a Welsh club as it had to go through FIFA!
I see that Kaid Mohamed has signed on non contract terms for Accrington. Is this allowed as he was playing for Port Talbot as recently as September?
As this is in a different FIFA jurisdiction how come he can move clubs outside the transfer window or is this allowed if he was also on non...
It really could have been more, but then again the lads like to keep us on our toes. Great performance from Nicky Adams - he is the assist king with another two assists! Also a big mention for John-Joe O'Toole who put it a very effective performance in midfield getting stuck in and passing...
I have been to all the league games bar Accrington..
Worst sides for me
Morecambe - 4:2 flattered them - how it was not more I have no idea.
Exeter City they seem to have a very soft centre to them
Oxford United was expecting Barcelona - not sure quite what they turned up as
Bristol Rovers...
A deserved win. Naturally we made life difficult at the end!
Last 30 minutes of first half we a spell of super football - with Adams at the heart of it all. Special mention for O'Toole another good performance - if he carries like that he has a future at the club.
For me highlights the bigger problem of the East Stand being empty which was a handy overflow for some 400 fans. Get used to it as 950 seats for away fans is a joke.
Then of course we have Wycombe who have made our game all ticket! Last season we took 801 fans. Yes one season we took 2,300...
Yet another Tuesday nigh trip to London for us. Given in the last few days we have picked up injuries if I was Wilder I would wrap them up in cotton wool.
