I'd be sceptical about championing this strategy too fervently.
The quality of Sega's software declined massively after they went 3rd party. Granted, that situation isn't entirely analogous with the one Nintendo are now in, but it's not inconceivable that they could go the same way if they did...
There won't though, that's the point. There won't be a York City if we go down.
It was a stupid sentimental appointment made by a stupid sentimental chairman. If you really want to see someone who doesn't have a clue what the fuck he's doing, look no further than the clown who's running the...
Lincoln normally bring about 300 to York for a midweek fixture. I was expecting around 600 this time with them being 2nd, but certainly not 1,000. Very impressive following indeed.
Tranmere, Wrexham and arguably Lincoln are the only clubs in this league bigger than us. You can argue that it means nothing, which is fair, but to say that we're not even that big for this level now is plainly wrong. We're a bigger club in this league now, relatively speaking, than we were last...
That was certainly a far improved performance from Gateshead (not that it could have been any worse). We deserved something from the game and were unlucky with refereeing decisions, but you make your own luck in football and ultimately, yet again, ill discipline and naivety at the wrong moments...
We have a solid record against Carlisle, but I can't see that continuing here. A loss and dire performance may see the first signs of the fans voicing their disapproval at the new manager already.
Another (understandably) low away turnout is likely in keeping with the general trend this season...
I would add Sin and Punishment to your list, which is excellent and definitely one of the best games on the system.
Regarding the bolded:
- Banjo Tooie and Donkey Kong 64 are decent (but not great) games that feel like regressions compared to previous iterations in their respective series.
-...
- Oblivion is more enjoyable than Skyrim
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is stupidly overrated and inferior to every other 16-bit Sonic game, including Sonic CD
- The Final Fantasy series peaked on the Snes
- The N64 has very few games that are worth playing today outside of a small handful of obvious...
Massive LOL at Mansfield creaming themselves into a frenzy over a crocked 28 year old striker who's scored 1 Football League goal in his entire career.
I predict that this time next year he'll have made about two appearances all season, be inexplicably offered a new contract since everyone at...
Goldeneye was a groundbreaking and incredible game in 1997 that, like Perfect Dark, has aged like dog shit. FFVII was never even that good to begin with and still isn't now, so I suppose you're right.
Torquay probably are closer to the Halifax/Chester/Darlington/Scarborough bracket now anyway. When they went down the first time, they had attendances in the Conference which were better than they were getting in League Two (close to 3,000 average as I remember) and a healthy budget which...
Summerfield is a good player, I can't really understand why he isn't more highly rated here. I think a lot of people haven't been able to get over his early season form when he was clearly not fully fit.
