Things looking a lot tougher for us now than they did a week or so ago. Drawing at Colchester and yesterday’s sucker punch against Carlisle is less than ideal. We’ve some really tough games coming up now and playing without a real centre forward due to injuries. Going to the wire I think.
Hard to tell from the vantage point in the away end but not too sure what the ref did wrong last night. Awful conditions which could have made the game quite attritional but was entertaining nonetheless. Another away point for us and on to a huge game at the weekend.
Our worst performance for a while but still better than pre-Shez. Actually relatively impressed with a couple of Colchester’s players - certainly better than some of the dross I’ve seen.
Not losing was the most important thing for us today though bit of a bummer Carlisle winning. We’re back to...
Oh boy, where to start.. I don’t doubt he put significant money in to begin with but he spent it horrifically. Issues range from putting his incompetent brother in charge of recruitment, dressing room interference, banning fans for having opinions, multiple employment tribunals etc etc
The...
Yep - it’s all hands on deck right now as fans understand the magnitude of our league situation and have given Shez they’re full backing as he deserves. BUT we also know that should the owners not be true to their word and sell up by the summer, we have to return to the same level of protest to...
Taken me a while to calm down and compose myself after another huge win for us. Not our best performance with both of our strikers out injured but the fight in these players since Sheridan came in is huge. Boundary Park was bouncing again and it’s all because of one man. We’re by no means out of...
I think that result yesterday is the end of Scunny. Was a must win for both teams and I’m just relieved we got it. Still a huge uphill battle but that was better from us yesterday and under Shez anything is possible
We have them away mid- march. We have Scunthorpe, Colchester, Walsall all to play before end of march and all must wins in my eyes. Our April reads Stevenage, Vale, Northampton, FGR, Salford and Tranmere so unless we’ve made up serious ground by then, we’re toast
The official have just posted saying unlikely there will be POTD and that the side bit isn’t going to be opened so that’s our lot. Should sell it out which is some going really.
1300 or so out of our 1522 allocation sold so far for our trip to Scunthorpe at the weekend, hoping to see the first Oldham goal of 2022 - the Shez effect. Just a shame he’s not been backed in terms of new recruits for what is a crucial game.
Lol, yeah we haven’t got a chance of signing anyone if there’s another team interested. We’re left taking the leftovers again - Mike Fondop being our only strong rumour.
Decent numbers from Dale - I might be wrong but don’t recall you bringing that many normally? Was all set for a great derby game with the crowd but the conditions combined with both sides being completely useless going forwards meant it was a tough watch.
Think the fan is now in a stable...
