Had we not signed Warburton and Gilmour I'd have been open to having Whelan at Halifax, although I'd suspect Eastleigh would offer more than us. Haven't they just signed Hesketh though? Do they need another attacking midfielder? We do have another attacking midfielder on trial called Jamie...

With Horsfield supposedly signed too we are probably looking at another 4/5 signings on top of him to get us to the 20/21 Wild is after. I feel we need Backup GK CB LB ST If we were to sign another i think it’s open to debate. Depends on what formation we go with.

He was shocking tonight. Caught offside about 5/6 times. Loads of loose touches and skied a decent chance over the stand. McDonagh was no better. If those 2 are the best solutions we can come up with to replace Hyde then it's going to be a very long season...

Figured out some of our trialists from tonight: Will Calligan Chris Taylor Jamie Cooke Gerry McDonagh Ben Carlton Raul Correia Common theme amongst the majority of them. Either failed players at this level or completely unproven kids.
