We've got 2 very strong centerla midfielders already... so he may not be first choice.
As ever though, seem short on striking options.
No doubt we'll have good run at the playoffs, finish about 5th an then lose again in the playoffs for the 9th time in the last 20 years.
I hope so. We've had 2 strikers who score well together in the grand total of 1 season out of the 17 I've been watching them. Signed Danny Newton too - difficult to know if he's a valid option or one of the many many slightly/largely over the hill strikers we've gathered over the years
P.s. Well done on the promotion.
Bitter at watching my 8th unsuccessful playoff campaign in 16 years... and at the hard slog of another season where the best we can hope for is another chance to lose in the playoffs... but Kiddy belong in the Nat League really.
Have Scunthorpe got a lot of...
No-one shone in the final. Good player, tenacious, fast, can score. We played him up front at start and at 5.7'' or so, it was hopeless. Coming from wide, or playing the second striker suits him. Got a lot better as the season progresses, so will need a bit of time. I'd probably jut about...
Callum Stead leaves Brackley. He was our Supporters', Players' & Manager's player of the year. Wants fulltime football, so presume he's had a NL offer.
If 15% is the mandatory away ticket allocation, then even at 4000 capacity you'd be entitled to less than 700 tickets... so I hope the Kiddy fans are not complaining about Brackley giving them that allocation?
Home tickets sold out last night. An emailed link system to buy tickets online for...
We reduced the capacity to 3000 I'm pretty sure in the Halifax Playoff Final 6 or 7 years back. The '4000' capacity seems somewhat dubious if everytime it looks like being filled you reduce it to 3000. I guess it could technically be 4000 if all the fans from both sides were best friends...
Yes they did. Was like being back in the 1980s again. Don't want to condemn Chester, since 95% of the fans I'm sure are very decent people. But I thought we'd all moved on from days like today - where a 5 year old kid is left covered in blood, disabled fans wheelchairs are damaged, flares are...
Couldn't we introduce a rule where if the playoff games are tied after 120 mins, that the team that finished higher in the league wins?
It seems ridiculous Kidderminster can finish 24 pts behind the second place team, or Brackley 15 points behind Chester, yet if it is a draw, to settle it...
Well... we're entitled to our opinions...
but I would say IF you had decent pen appeals turned down (which I despute), it might be because of the large amount of diving your side was doing... the number 8 being the worst offender. You don't mention your player booked for an embarrising dive...
