We need the win in all honesty I think - not just to see off the challenge from Ebbsfleet, but I can't see anything other than wins for Bromley, Fylde and Dagenham (who we then play on Sat)
Yep definitely. Given we're struggling to score again, conceding from set pieces regularly, and our fixtures (Ebbsfleet, Dagenham, an in-form Orient, and Fylde); I would take 7th right now.
I remember saying (prior to it being postponed) what a big match Ebbsfleet away would have been. And now we have some big matches all against play-off chasing teams or teams picking up form all piled together.
Realistically I think we'll be okay to finish Top 7 as we'll probably scrape the few...
While that ref was shit we completely cost ourselves any chance of getting back into it. The pen was a joke decision granted, Andrade just falls over and the ref can't blow quick enough.
But then we completely lost our heads and mouthed our way into 3 or 4 bookings. And then right at the start...
It was a soft one I thought at the time. But really stupid and unnecessary from Wedge.
Loved Roger Johnson getting sent off, got some great abuse from the away end.
90 mins stood on that open terrace getting pissed wet through. Just knew we'd draw too. Classic Wrexham.
Nice to see Bromley still have that group of young weirdos stood by the away end.
Gutted with that Macc winner - two horse race now.
For me, it was that fine, that a Macc loss or draw (due to their lower GD) last night would have kept Tranmere, Aldershot and Wrexham in the title race... but think 8 points in 7 games is too much to make up now.
Thought it was an entertaining game in the snow in Woking, and at times probably some of the best football I've seen us play this season.
We start alright but then Woking score from a corner. We continue to have most of the ball and equalise from one of the biggest shithouse goals in a while...
Gutted - it was inevitable as soon as Walsall sacked their manager.
Not a clue how we will get on.. hope the board learned their lessons for the next manager after bringing in someone like Mills who completely ripped up everything we had in place upon his arrival. I'd still strongly back us to...
Ebbsfleet (A) - Draw
Chester (H) - Win
Woking (A) - Win
Maidstone (H) - Win
Bromley (A) - Lose
Our month starts off quite nicely, pretty important we avoid defeat at Ebbsfleet who are surging towards the play-offs and at least keep that 5 point gap.. On paper Chester/Woking/Maidstone looks like...
Looking more over our shoulders at the moment with all these draws.. Ebbsfleet away on Saturday has suddenly become a rather big game with them sat in 8th just 5 points behind us..
Must win really, especially with Tranmere v Macc and Aldershot v Bromley playing. Expect Boreham Wood and Sutton to win too.
Can see us dropping points though, and would look likely to be play-offs for us.
