So the first half was up there with Bromley (A), Dover (H) and Barrow (H) in terms of worst performance of the season. Absolutely awful. Just aimless kicks forward, and 'Fleet looked like scoring every time they had a long throw, corner or just genuinely got forward.
3-0 at H/T and could so...
Probably our toughest match left on paper.
We really could do with winning this.. in the battle for 2nd/3rd PO spots I can't see anything but wins for Solihull, Salford, Fylde and Harrogate.
Hoping we can somehow shithouse a 1-0 win
Yep fully expecting you to lay down arms and have your tummies tickled.
I don't think many would have been confident of a win, but two signings in a couple of days will have given some added confidence, as we had completely regressed to a side who looked incapable of scoring again.
This Barrow MAULING of us is going to replace the famous FA Cup win over Tranmere as things we are constantly reminded of, isn't it.. :shut:
As for us, well I don't think we could ask for an easier game on paper given how we are back in CRISIS mode.
Walker will still be out, and unsure of...
Barrow and Maidstone both at home this week.
6 points are a must to stay in the title race, or to at least ensure we remain well placed for 2nd/3rd play off spots.
Edit: just read Brad Walker is out for a few weeks, that's a huge blow for us
Would be a huge result if we can win this before Orient away.
We're expecting a bumper crowd, I was going to mention our seemingly poor record in front of big crowds in recent years, but the 5-1 trouncing of Salford on Boxing Day hopefully bodes well...
Going to be tough not to get a bit giddy if we win this one..
Our last four fixtures are games we really would have been expecting to win, Boreham Wood away on Tuesday being the toughest of them (who are in freefall). Much bigger test tomorrow!
Solid enough win last night. Boreham Wood are pretty terrible and a far cry from last season's team.
Looking more and more like such a bizarre decision that Tollitt wasn't playing under Barrow. Two well taken goals.
Great hold up play by Oswell and a lovely dinked ball to set up the second. He...
Yep, pretty much this.
Quite astonishing that we can go top with just a dozen games left, given how poor to average we have been for most of the season
Now onto our 5th manager (permanent or interim) in less than a calendar year, with Keates being with us til March 2018, and then Andy Davies in interim charge from there til the end of the season. Ridiculous..
