Yep.. god knows what happens if we do lose.
More realistically we limp over the line with a 1-0 win, everything is back on track.. and we lose the next couple after that.
Also whilst not quite being bottom half.. 6 of our 10 seasons down here have been 10th or below (finished 10th or 11th four times, our beloved positions)
Same again for second half. We created nothing. Our free fall after losing a manager looks like it may well happen for a second successive season, based on the last 3 games.
Two HUGE games in the league tomorrow that are worthy of their own thread.
Bromley v Wrexham
Gateshead v Solihull
Will be my fourth trip to Bromley tomorrow night, and we have yet to win there, although each game has been very entertaining at least.. Little bit of excitement entering this...
A good player, and am sure he'll improve having been frozen out at Fleetwood for a while, but he's not really what we need. I wouldn't have both him and Beavon in the front-three, and everyone adores Beavon so..
Happy New Year!
Salford are going to come right at us from the off I feel, hurting from Boxing Day (and 4 losses in a row). If we see out that frenetic start then we have every chance. I'd take a 1-1 now though.
Also, be interested to know a league average for completing the Boxing Day/NYD...
Got to keep it on the deck today, if not we'll eventually get bulldozed aside like we did in the away game in August.
Ideally would keep the same side as Boxing Day, and hopefully Tollitt comes on towards the end against tired legs and nicks the winner, 1-0.
Stones were just picking up form under Wheeler when we played them away, we were fortunate in the end to draw. Certainly didn't see them as relegation favs.
