Our assistant Graham Barrow has today signed a 2.5 year contract, so assume we have someone lined up... points towards us looking for another young coach again.
Officially confirmed now. Ricketts has left and taken over at Shrewsbury.
This one really hurts, sick of this happening.
Ricketts was certainly an upgrade on Keates and carried on what he had left.
I hope the coaching staff stay this time, Graham Barrow has indicated he will be sticking...
Our loan keeper Rob Lainton has signed permanently til end of the season from Port Vale, he has been pretty faultless so far. Good addition.
This means Wrexloan AFC can field one more loanee in our matchday squad
Scott Burgess has also gone back to Bury. I think he played about 7 minutes that I...
Seemed to have a lot of the ball but mostly played between defence and Luke Summerfield. Contained Maidstone pretty well, nicely taken goal from them which you just have to accept.
Our problem continues to be scoring and our goal today was obviously hugely fortunate.
Would have felt hard done...
Checking results alone it seems we're running into Maidstone at the wrong time.
4 points from away games at Ebbsfleet and Barnet is a good return. And even if they're bottom of L2, still a good result to beat Macc in the FA Cup
Always a good atmosphere at The Gallagher, and hopefully we should...
Yeah we were great in parts today. Thought the midfield three of Walker, Summerfield and Young were all excellent. A very good midfield 3 with them together
Gateshead appear to have gone unnoticed into Play offs, can't say I've seen them mentioned on threads too much.
Looking back on their recent run, games have all been against mid/lower table sides til they met Fylde in midweek.
I'll go with us to edge this one at home.
Last season was drab at Daggers. They were down to 10 men from probably about half-hour in.. and in a classic Keates team performance of last season we shithoused a win with a final minute own goal. 1-0.
Would absolutely take the same result again, to keep pressure on Salford, who again will...
Harrogate away for us.. one of the toughest draws we could have got
We've gone three seasons without making 1st round proper. £25k for winners of the tie would be very handy
know nothing of Havant or what to expect, guess they're in the bottom 4 for a reason...
Can't see Salford dropping points at Dover, so need to notch up another win
We've said we're appealing the Red card.
Very difficult to see on what the pen is given for amongst all those players and from where the camera is. It looked harsh at the time and still does
But that should still not take away from us being crap, and Sutton still deserving the win.
Deserved loss at Sutton, couldn't cope with their high pressing which they maintained throughout most of the game.
A lot of moaning about the pen in the away end, but the ref had already spoken to Pearson a couple of times about wrestling so it was no surprise to see the pen given.
But to me...
will be a third visit to GGL personally; a loss, then a draw.. so the stars are surely aligned for an away win on this one.
I would have taken a draw, but that 4-0 loss Sutton suffered midweek has changed the complexion on this one somewhat.
A pretty huge double-header for us with Harrogate...
Pretty much agreed with this (score draw). Aldershot would have beaten us on another day if Rendell was a able to take simple chances. A point would be an alright result against the 'Fax.
Also, after a couple more signings we are now up to about 60 players, so be interested to see who starts...
