Dave Johnson is very passionate about Vale but I think he dives in with his tweets some times.
As for the rumours.....
Not sure a man like Karl Robinson is needed at the Vale right now, and as you say why would he leave Charlton for us. Even if there is instability there, he would hardly be...
We've had an announcement about an extension to season ticket deadlines
Apparently though, THE announcement has been delayed. I have heard a rumour it is because Smurf added an 'e' onto the end of Lee Clark's name in his contract and it has had to be re-written.......and not using...
There is still a strong chance you would have gone to Wembley even if you have seen Coventry there before.
I won't knock anyone for going as it is easy to understand why you want to go. At the end of the day, no-one picks a team to support because they want to see them become a fantastic club...
This is the biggest chance Coventry fans will have to show their broadest audience exactly what they think of SISU by leaving their end empty at the final. Won't happen though!
This is the biggest chance the 2 sets of fans will have to show the biggest audience what the footballing world thinks...
Northampton v Chesterfield - Chesterfield's off pitch problems go on and can't see them getting anything off it in this one so 3 points to the cobblers
Gills v Vale - This won't even be a contest. Vale are abysmal away from home so a comfortable home win here
Bury v Swindon - The levels of shit...
That is possible, but it is not in a desirable location. Burslem is very much in decline (as is much of Stoke-on-Trent) so can't imagine a supermarket chain or distribution company wanting the land. That just leaves property developers but they would be building houses for people on low...
Not sure on that but could be considering he revamped the shop. One thing is for sure, it is never a good thing to different parts of the club split from each other.
Smurthwaite owns everything but it is all separate so selling the club would not necessarily mean him selling the ground (not that any buyer would ever accept a deal without the ground). Not a particularly good place for us to be considering Mr Smurthwaite's dealings in property
I stopped going as I found other things to do on a Saturday and even though I no longer do anything on a Saturday, I have no interest in spending money watching Vale and nor do I miss it. Give me my Paddy Power account and Jeff Stelling any day :D
It would appear that this is becoming the case with talks of protests and things on OVF. The worry with him and ousting him is the fact he has split the ground and the club and how he will use that to his advantage with any potential suitors
