Some muppet on skysports news, representing the football league, has suggested that the 8 new teams could be premier league B teams. He actually said that last time they were proposed, supporters and clubs were against the idea, but that was a long time ago. ... ... ... It was LAST SEASON FFS...
Ignore him. That is sadly his sense of humour.
I don't want to ruin a thread, but hopefully he will be less rude in the future after reading this.
That response, plus the Podcasts one... shows me that he just enjoys the one or two likes he gets from other people who enjoy putting people down...
I'm not saying playing you in the playoffs would be an easy route. Far from it! Whoever we face in the semis, we will be big underdogs. However as Gary has said, Oxford are our bogey team, I'm never confident going into a game against them.
Against Bristol our games are quite competitive...
Really looking forward to this match, I haven't wanted us to win quite so badly for a long time. Imagine winning this, and then securing a playoff place at home against Pompey. Dream world.
Also hope to see Sammy Moore make an appearance, he should be given a very good reception.
I hate politicians. The Tories are basically saying "we might be in favour of the move, but you have to vote us in to find out." then they add in a link showing that Kahn wanted to cancel/go over the plans a year ago.
This whole thing just stinks of using New Plough Lane as a chess peice to win...
These are big games for us, because if we can get 6 points from Crawley and Dagenham, we can afford to slip up against Orient and Portsmouth.
Win this game to stay 7th with 6 games to go, 5 games for everyone else.
This is pretty surprising seeing as when we played Forest Green earlier in the season, they were some thing crazy like 12 points clear, or near enough.
So well done Cheltenham for defying the odds and coming back at the first time of asking :D I remember our fans clapping your team off on the...
Oh yeah, haha. I agree. By "win it" I meant the match, not the play offs. Thats exactly what I mean though. We can't afford to lose many more games, or our hopes are pretty much completely over, especially if we lose against a play off rival.
I'd say this is a must win for us given that we're losing ground on the playoffs.
I reckon we're gunna win it, even though thats really just pure guesswork.
I can't really decide who our best player has been this year, for me no one has really stood out and been visibly better than the rest. However I haven't been to many away games this year, which has been where our best form is.
In defence we've been pretty solid, and Barry Fuller has been...
That was possibly the best goal we've scored since getting promoted to the league. I didn't have a great view in the ground, but on the highlights it looks immense.
Shocker of a first half. If you dont take your chances you don't deserve to score. The York goal was inevitable seeing as they've been even worse than us.
